All those rules to hold us back, all those rorts and dishonour. You surrendered your souls and where did it bring you?
You're welcome.
Sounds like excuses to me

There's no excuse for what Carlton did. you were our brothers, our mentors, and you turned from the path of righteousness.Sounds like excuses to me
Another Ricky Bobby Bagger, a fan of not making GFs so you cant lose them.Blues shart all over the Pies winning % in grand finals though. The good old Colliwobbles!
Ah, the old winning percentage in fewer games...Blues shart all over the Pies winning % in grand finals though. The good old Colliwobbles!
Makes you laugh doesn't it.Salt levels are high for Pie supporters
Currently in Mexico and still thinking they have been a powerhouse over the last 60 odd years
Yeah but the Collingwood 1958 to 1990 experience, constantly finding various ways to squander and lose grand finals that is it's own form of humiliation and torment i think. No doubt. None of this is in dispute by me except your last comment. Never thought in those days I would get to a stage where I would prefer the Collingwood ride over the Carlton but that changed.
I know you wont agree but to be so poor for so long , a 29years where most seasons were worthless, thats just too long to balance the good times of the old days. Footy ends up being great experiences and flags are the very best of that but you have had too many years of nothingness and seeing your club as a laughing stock. I would hate to have that feeling.
Part deluded, part hilarious.Yeah but the Collingwood 1958 to 1990 experience, constantly finding various ways to squander and lose grand finals that is it's own form of humiliation and torment i think.
You hate us and we hate you that's how it works, but some of your posts do show signs of psychological trauma that is still prevalent from that era in you.
Granted we have been poor for quite a considerable period of time, yet i would be of the mindset and mentality that when the stakes are at their highest that Carlton will always prevail over Collingwood.
It's just one of the facts of life! As for the modern-day Carlton well at least we aren't Essendon who last won a finals game twenty years ago.
Or just a final? When was the last time the Pies beat Carlton in a Grand Final?

Jeez.Do these posters get anything right, ever?
'Nearly a third more Grand Finals' - let's fact check...
Collingwood - 43 Grand Finals
Essendon - 30 Grand Finals
Carlton - 29 Grand Finals
For Carlton, 14/29 = 48.2%
For Essendon, 13/30 = 43.3%
Clearly more than 'nearly a third more' for both teams.
But why would we expect correct and factual statements from these nuffies?
The odds of meeting Carlton in finals in the last 3 decades has been incredibly low. Not our fault.Or just a final?
At least Essendon have actually been good enough to finish top4 and play in a GF in the 21st century. It's just one of the facts of life! As for the modern-day Carlton well at least we aren't Essendon who last won a finals game twenty years ago.
21st century starts in 2001 actually. At least Essendon have actually been good enough to finish top4 and play in a GF in the 21st century.
Carlton fans actually think winning an EF is an achievement
In the battle between the once were VFL powerhouses, Carlton are hands down the biggest flops on every measure
Blues 5 spoons, Dons just 1
Blues 9 bottom 4 seasons, Dons 6
Blues made finals 7 times, Dons 10
Blues 0 top4 finishes, Dons 1
Blues 5 finals wins (4EF and 1SF), Ess also 5 finals wins (1PF, 1QF and 3EF)
Blues 0 PF wins=0GF, Dons 1 PF win =1GF
But the Baggers "brag" is that they haven't lost as many finals as Essendon
They'll still be pulling out that line in 60 years when we're 8 flags and a further 20 Grand Final appearances ahead of them, and they're still waiting for their first top 4 finish of the 21st Century...The odds of meeting Carlton in finals in the last 3 decades has been incredibly low. Not our fault.
Oh no.21st century starts in 2001 actually.
I remember it like it was a 114 years ago...When was the last time the Pies beat Carlton in a Grand Final?
Pretty smart by Carlton, cant lose a big final if you're not good enough to make em.The odds of meeting Carlton in finals in the last 3 decades has been incredibly low. Not our fault.
Yes 24 completed AFL seasons in the 21st century.21st century starts in 2001 actually.
Fadge what are the odds of an AFL finalist in the 21st century actually playing a final against Carlton? 1000 to 1?They'll still be pulling out that line in 60 years when we're 8 flags and a further 20 Grand Final appearances ahead of them, and they're still waiting for their first top 4 finish of the 21st Century...
More excuses. Typical. The odds of meeting Carlton in finals in the last 3 decades has been incredibly low. Not our fault.
Well they are pretty slim, particularly given Collingwood play Qualifying Finals, Preliminary Finals and Grand Finals, whilst Carlton play Elimination Finals (and if they're very lucky the occasional Semi Final).Fadge what are the odds of an AFL finalist in the 21st century actually playing a final against Carlton? 1000 to 1?
