Awesome.

We've heard of Pies supporters on this thread who have seen 11.

But the facts are, nearly half the population of Australia haven't been alive for a Carlton Premiership, and that number is increasing by the year....

And it's been glorious.
There are supporters in this thread who have seen 11 ? Bullshit

Love your optimism Worm. But. Why would any player want to go from a powerhouse successful club like Geelong to loserville? It's not like Carlton can match the cheap land deals down Geelong way.
Also, With what currency and cap space? You traded out next year's first.
We'd have the cap space, highly doubt we'd have the draft picks though.

Collingwood have traded out their first as well, but for some reason you guys think that Petracca will land on your doorstep. We don't need a first rounders next year - we have a father son hopping on board..
BTW- owning property in Geelong 45 monster down the road from Melbourne is not that big a deal

Prime farmland and beachfront properties on the surf coast obviously has its appeal though Wormy.

What's the 'current status'?

That we were both a fair way off it in 2024, but with Collingwood finishing the season stronger than Carlton, and winning both games against Carlton.

On the back of Collingwood contending for the flag in the prior two seasons, compared to Carlton who didn't.

And finally, Collingwood have objectively improved their list in the off season, compared to Carlton who didn't.

THAT 'current status'?
Most Carlton supporters will be unhappy with our form this year and this century, we are a well balanced supporter base, we don't need to be told 30 times a day by a bunch of immature high schoolers.

Cripps owns property in WA - doesn't mean he is leaving to play there.
A close friend of mine, who played AFL at essendon owns 4 properties - 2 on the coast, 2 in Melbourne- he never left. Owning property in the bellarine isn't the carrot that you think it is

Because he wants the chance to win a premiership.
No chance TDK leaves Carlton, more chance of Daicos joining Carlton once the pensioners retire claiming he once supported the Blues.

I'm tipping our coterie groups can offer him better if it comes down to property deals.

He already goes surfing every other day because unlike pea heart Ollie Henry, he isn't fussed driving an hour down the highway.

Will be on big coin on his next contract playing for the team he grew up supporting.

When people are on the back foot on a sticky turning wicket - they tend to fumble around loose wristed and come up with floppy attempts to make contact with the reality of the ball.

The reality is Collingwood collpased in 2024 with less exciuse than Carlton.

Fudgee sticks to hsi line of Carlton list having gone bacckwards- because no Owies - which has ot be one of the greatest reaches ever posted - and suggesting that walking away from Houston whop was begging to come to Carlton was a big miss - exrends the reach to Mr gadget proportions.

very funny reading.

One thing is sfor sure- I'd liek to be on the other side of ANY trade with Fudgey - that would be an easy pension.

Have a look at yyourself hoping for a player from Carlton to leave - to elevate your bunch of no hopers - that is hwo far you have already fallen - long way to go before you bottomn out - that will be fun to watch for years to come.

TDK going to Geelong ain't gonna elevate Collingwood any.
It will however produce an abundance of priceless melts from Carlton posters . 😀

Geelong are way more of a flag threat than Carlton and I hate to see them get even better, but it'd still be worth it for the Carlton melts.

We beat them by 11 goals during the year. Lol

Look if you want Mr Pussy Willow to come in and gie you a needed reach around- just flash the pussy lights up into the sky.

Here listen up - Carlton supproters actually DONT CARE who Collingwood sign - it wont make any differene to the balance - keep avoiding investng in the draft please - throw the palace in richmond at Petracca- PLEASE..

as for TDK do you ctualy have a clue where he grew up and who he has grown up playing with 0 including his younger brother ?

Good luck Geelong is all I am gunna say - keep bringiung in the fancy pantsers wif nice long hair and instagram influence with powdwry nose fetishes - that their future - back to the past - same as yours.

If the games level with a minute to go and ur team is about to take possession of the ball, you're sagging off ur man and getting into position to be an outlet. That's footy 101 Fudge.

Not going to try explaining it any further to someone who's clearly never played higher than division 8 ressies football.
Not when the ball's in your backline, and you're accountable for the most dangerous player in the game.

But as I said, if Carlton are happy with that decision, I'm all for it as a Collingwood supporter...
