Yeah he's really struggling. Needs to take a leaf out of Sammy the Seagulls playbook and have more of an impact by bombing long helicopter mongrels all day.

Just to be clear, I'm not the person stating that Carlton are a mile away from Geelong , even though said person failed to realise that Carlton beat the same side convincly during this season. But again , feel free to enter other posters head to head conversations like you are the gatekeeper of the thread

Again, don't base it on the result of a single game, otherwise we'd be having Richmond supporters thinking they're 'not far away from Sydney' courtesy of their 2024 win against them...

Carlton have competed with and beaten Geelong even in our bad times and down at there ground as well. It's a terrible comparison

Who else finds it ironic that all we've heard about since the season finished was how Carlton were better than Collingwood because 'The Ladder', and now we're hearing that there's no difference between Carlton and Geelong because they beat them this year (despite also losing to them), and have historically matched up well against them 'even in their bad times'?

We flogged Geelong with TDK having the best ranked game by anyone up to that point then TDK goes down and Carlton loses momentum, you won't want to understand that and we couldn't give a shit, your dribble in here is so one eyed that even Pie posters must have a laugh.

Oh that's right - Collingwood couldn't beat Geelong this season. Now it makes sense why you are dismissing Carltons form against them this year.

So yet another of my theories re: Carlton being reinforced...

Carlton lose any of Cripps, Weitering, Curnow or TDK, and they're bottom 4 level.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

The question that reinforced yet another of my theories as to why Carlton don't have the scope to build a list to contend for the flag?

Because they are hamstrung by paying too few players too much, and can't afford to recruit additional talent to elevate them to premiership contention level.

I actually think you guys are finally starting to get it!
