Explain the Long, McInness and Macrae one again please. Would they be VFL depth or best 22 players for the Blues?
I reckon McInnes would get a game ahead of Moir or one of your other spud forwards.

And the way Walsh went this year you could replace him with either Long or Macrae and get about the same impact.

A few corrections there...

'I' don't subscribe to the best 22 theory.

McRae made the best 22 comment about Membrey. Do you honestly think that when recruiting a player, a coach would say to him - yeah, we see you as depth, so if we lose any of McStay, Mihocek or Cox, you'll probably get a game?

I've explained my statement about Macrae, Long and McInnes.

How is the Carlton v. North/West Coast post an own goal?

That makes it 0 from 3 for you.

But I guess that's an improvement on 0 - 60.
Umm no mate. The press conference I provided was from May this year so had nothing to do with Membrey. Macrae referred to the best 22 in a quote from that presser about Lachie Schultz in fact.

I asked you for a player that regularly plays for Carlton that those three would get a game ahead of and you failed to answer except for saying "there are too many to name".

And you said Carlton fans said they had 4 guaranteed wins which was not the case. No such thing as a guaranteed win in the AFL.

Um, if you read the thread I'm just sharing exactly what has been posted by your Carlton mates.

The good thing about an on-line forum is that it is all there as proof.

Let me know if you need any assistance comprehending anything.
I have read the thread and have not seen one Carlton fan say that if Carlton lost one good player they are bottom 4. And even if they did one person's opinion does not make the statement a "confirmed" fact

Moir played two games as sub for Carlton in 2024. So even if you believed McInnes would get a game ahead of Moir it would not mean he would be "getting a game for Carlton every week" which is what was said.

Moir is being touted by all of you as the Owies replacement.
McInnes would be an upgrade on Durdin too for that matter.

Moir has far more upside than Owies yes. I don't have him in my best 23 for 2025 yet but others may.

Once again the point made was that McInnes/Long/Macrae would get a regular game for Carlton. So which player that gets a regular game for Carlton would they displace?

What was the super important question Worm has been waiting 5 hours for you to answer?
Wondering if it as stupid as I imagine it will be?
Who would know, but I expect he's been sitting there refreshing his screen every 30 seconds for the last five hours hoping for a response...

He probably wouldn't even understand it if I explained it to him again anyway, so why would I bother?

Well what do you think your best forward line is including 1 on the bench?

So what.

But you do know what an 'own goal' is, don't you?

Actually, clearly you don't.

You just thought it was a cool term you saw us using, and decided to use it completely out of context....

Poor guys been waiting over 5 hours for his guru's wisdom. Put him out of his misery wouldya.

That's my opinion, and was supported by the post I responded to from a Carlton supporter when apparently their 2024 season turned to shite when De Koning went down.

True story.
