As soon as Ginni wants to depart, he was suddenly a liability.

7-72 anyone ?
Hey Hawthorn will tell you Jack is hard work at times but he’s a talent. Most of us were disappointed he left but Hokball and doing whatever the **** you want was like the mother ship calling him home. He got a AFL flag and a Moonee Valley quaddie all within 18 hours. He blatantly did a couple of things on field that the senior blokes were furious with in one of the finals which I heard was more of a catalyst for the departure than the races non event. Defensive efforts were not a strong point also.

Easy answer, Carlton.

Actually think it will be close, if both sides stay healthy

Also, both teams have strong "6 or so" elite players, but need to find greater consistency from others

Both would be looking for youth to take the next step, the likes of Moir and Allan

Forward half pressure and scoring from turnovers will likely be the focus

I would have thought the Dees would be the powder puffs

I doubt the legitimacy of that but you could be ****ed up and can’t speak properly so I’m not going to judge. The powderpuffs will finish higher. Even though that sounds like Port
Both valid nominations

I think their age will catch up with them. Too old, too slow.

You guys better inside game. We won a flag on run and spread. Our backs in Moore, IQ, even Maynard at times were a shadow of their 2023 form this year. Clearly a premiership hangover and we’re satisfied a lot of the time. I know we’re 2 years older for a few of the fossils but I think it’s a bit forgotten that we weren’t exactly shit not that long ago. I can’t pick who’ll finish higher. History and flog bias says we will but Carlton’s first half of last year was the best I’ve seen you guys this century I’d say. Who knows if injury free that form will magically reappear and if our hunger will. One things for sure, Mason Cox is taller than Sam Walsh even on his tippie toes

I think you missed Murphy, moreso the type, which is defensively minded first and foremost like Maynard.

Dean might be a good option, which then still allows for more attacking types off HB

Personally I'd have Howe forward, but with the acquisition of Membrey, that's less likely

Apart from Harry and Charlie, we lack spark in the forward half, it's why I believe Moir could really add to the mix

Maybe but that’s such a lazy knock. Pendles is as slow as he ever was. Sidey will maybe lose his spot to Allan at some point which will be one less. Howes form is still strong. Elliot you guys love. Those same old geriatrics were in the team that rolled you guys and Brissy late in the year. You might be right but outside run of Hill, the 2 brothers you guys think are soft, McCreery, Crisp etc is our strength, not Pendles and Sidey getting 35 a game as full time mids now. Alright that’s enough mid cricket break deep thinking after a few beers. 🍺

'Rumour hasn't it', has it?

FMD.

Get a pass mark in Grade 2 English, then you might start to understand what is going on in threads like this.

Whilst not exactly what was said (surprise, surprise), if one is to 'concede' on a point, wouldn't they do it AFTER an original point was made?

Otherwise, why do we even need the word 'concede' in the English language?

(I don't expect you to be able to answer the questions above, based on the fact you probably need to get to Grade 4 English to do so).

I would think not having a Grade 2 level of reading comprehension, which is the level of most of you nuffies, would be worse than both options.
You have a serious problem mate, you haven't got an answer you go for the insult.

Just some observations from what I watched last year. Sidebottom probably the biggest issue. Incredibly slow and generally wasn't any good. Pendlebury was alright but who knows what a difference a year could make. I don't like Elliot which may be controversial.

I'll give you props for Hill. He is good. And honestly, the two brothers are probably my favourite Collingwood players at the moment. Incredible to watch. Isn't Crisp starting to get old too? Could decline at any point.

We’ll have to phase them out gradually rather than all at once clearly. Houston at 27 and Perryman at 26 are a good start. Chips in and if it turns to shit well just quote obscure stats to prove we’re still awesome
Perryman is actually very good recruiting. I thought Houston was older so not a bad trade there either.
