It's pretty hard to keep up with these guys opinion on Daicos.

I mean, is he so important to Collingwood that if we lose him we're destined for bottom 6, or does he cost us games because of his selfishness, or somewhere inbetween?

More tangled website they're weaving...
Clearly we've got bias but i cant ever remember a 21yo kid that's put up performances like him that's copped so much negativity and criticism. No off field issues, respectful to everyone, sublime skills and decision making. All that pales into insignificance to his stat padding and softness, doesn't win any hard balls etc. How good was it watching Will Ashcroft win the Norm this year? I was pumped for him. I cant imagine watching that and looking for all his weaknesses to hang shit on him.

Yep, indeed.

They certainly are a bitter breed of people.

I'm excited to see how Jagga starts his career. Regardless of who he is playing for.

Fudgey loves talking odds but refuses to put a bet on in here.

If we're "certainties" to make bottom 4 next year what's the worse that could happen Fudger? Someone welches on their bet and u don't lose anything
Who said Carlton are 'certainties' to finish bottom 4?

My quote of $2.50 suggests I think they are less likely than likely to finish bottom 4.

And why on earth would I want to bet with someone on here who 'could' Welch, when I could bet with a reputable betting agency when I'm guaranteed a return should my bet win?

If he went about it the same way Chris Judd did as a 21 year old when he won the brownlow, we wouldn't have have an issue, but he has some flaws that are quite obvious, namely hardness at the pill, and of course all the cheap stats he gets pretty much for nothing.

**** me thanks for nailing the cliche like an absolute pro. :tearsofjoy:

Yeah, of course.

For what it's worth, Daicos has been BETTER in his first 3 years than Judd was in his first 3 years...

Your $2.50 quote has Carlton finishing 14th or 15th. Didn't you confirm 17th earlier in the day ?

Yeah, of course.

Duno. Were over biased flogs and Carlton are programmed to hate him. Alot of rational commentators with no skin in the game have made insane statements about his talent and what hes achieved in 3 years. We can enjoy his positives i guess and hope he turns into Glenn Archer one day that refuses any handball receives out of principle

at least daicos does something with his cheap possessions. walsh gets the ball in open space and coughs it up to the opposition without fail.
I know this is a broad question but what is a cheap possession? Getting the ball from every campaigner because you're the best user on the team? Workrate that is superior to most players on the ground so you end up free on the end of possession chains? His GPS numbers are insane. Makes all that worthless if you want him on the bottom of every pack showing how tough he is
