After roll out.
Moon Man Face GIF by Barbara Pozzi

So assuming 25 metres roll out, the longest driver on the PGA tour throughout the 90's was averaging 245 metres on the fly, but for Wormy, who was a 'single figure handicapper', 250 metres of carry was merely stock standard...
Don't get all upset fadge. Your getting all blue in the face. Blue suits you

Long John himself never averaged 270m in the mid 90s.

Worms tall tales must make for fun story time
Yeah, he got there by the late 90's, but again, that was after roll out.

And he wants us to trust him with his 'facts' that can't be fact checked?

Such that he was amongst the 0.00000001% of golfers in the world that could carry a drive 250 metres 30 years ago....

Decades of abject failure have turned them into gormless fabulists to compensate

An entire supporter base actually thrown off the rails by their failing football club, bizarre but true

Much easier to believe you're in the top 4% for 'height for humans' than it is that you were in the top 0.00000001% of drivers of a golf ball back in the mid 90's...
Didn't realise you kept stats on all golfers professional and amateur. How silly of me to even think that a 6ft 2 / 100 kg 4 days a week golfer could even hit the ball more than 250 metres in any way shape or form .

6 ft 2...

So the answer to my question is 'all humans, including newborns'....

Height and size is barely a factor when it comes the how far a person can hit a golf ball. I mean, there are plenty of 5 ft 9, 70 kg kids smashing it 75 metres past 6 ft 3, 110 kg grown men.

But I still don't believe you were hitting it further than the longest hitters on the USPGA tour 30 years ago. Sorry.

Edit: you've reverted from 'on the fly' to 'in any way, shape or form'. If it isn't 'on the fly' I could believe you.
