How many flags has your team won again? And everyday at princess park is like an episode of Masterchef.

Let me check with Col Carter, he pulls flags out of hyperspace so I reckon he could find Freo a couple. How many flags has your team won again?
He decided to join the bun fight. So i presume he was aware of the terms and conditions of combat.Oi! Stop punching down, youse Blues: Freo are a frail little club and its not a fair fight.
Have a crack at us, we're more your speed.

Had a look at his trash book the other day, the knob moves mountains to discover non existent premierships in the 1870s, but won't countenance the Melbourne and Carlton clashes in the 1860s because...ummm...
Bother now I'm doing it. Sorry Geelong.

I suppose the Pies with their two flags since 1995 narrowly shade it. What's that they say about bald people fighting over a comb?Oh no.
One flag in the last 30 years v. No flags inthe lady 30 years...
How does one decide?
Well, that is twice as many as Carlton.I suppose the Pies with their two flags since 1995 narrowly shade it. What's that they say about bald people fighting over a comb?
Another boring Bagger talking about 1970s as if it is relevant.I suppose the Pies with their two flags since 1995 narrowly shade it. What's that they say about bald people fighting over a comb?
Our eight flags across a timespan of the last seven decades is a lot more impressive i think. Only the Hawks can boast a better strike rate.
Inept in the modern age, can't even send a dick pic properlyAnother boring Bagger talking about 1970s as if it is relevant.
Carlton won 0 flags in 1950s
Carlton won 0 flags in 1960s...until country zoning came in.
Carlton were in the midst of a 20 year premiership drought until former Carlton president Sir Kenneth pushed in country zoning changes.
Carlton took advantage of a great zone, as did Hawthorn, and dominated the that end of VFL era as a result, the Blues claimed 7 flags in 20 years when an imbalanced VFL country zoning gave Carlton and Hawthorn a huge advantage.
Hawthorn also won 7 flags in that country zoning period, from 68 to 89.
The league abolished the country zones, went national and professional and went from VFL to AFL.
Since AFL came in and the advantageous country zones was removed, Carlton have won 1 flag and claimed 5 wooden spoons. Unlike Carlton, Hawthorn have won 5 AFL premierships and don't have to refer back to the glory country zone VFL era. Hawks talk about modern dominance and winning flags each decade.
No surprise why boring Baggers keep talking about what happened 50-60 years ago, as outside of the country zone period where Carlton benefited from a dodgy zoning rule that gave them access to better players, they have been poor.
When you're explaining you're losing as the old saying goes. A lot of ifs buts and maybes there, but three flags in sixty six years is a fact and a reality.Another boring Bagger talking about 1970s as if it is relevant.

More maths. The rules and regulations at the time were precisely that.
Collingwood's flag total would be substantially reduced if the right to challenge rule from the 1920's and 1930's was revoked as well.

Country zoning was brought in after the 1967 season. When you're explaining you're losing as the old saying goes. A lot of ifs buts and maybes there, but three flags in sixty six years is a fact and a reality.
Some North Melbourne fans have even seen and experienced more flag wins than most Pies fans as well.
Edit: Carlton did win a flag in 1968 so you're a little bit off indeed here with your facts as well i think!
Even the National Enquirer would have more credibility than that above post i think!
All clubs had the opportunity to be minor premier after H&A and thus get the reward afforded to them. The rules and regulations at the time were precisely that.

Don't be so hard on yourself, sure its a bit boring and yes you're off topic, but you're having a go.Boring, retrospective "analysis"
2024 Carlton finished in the 8, Pies in Mexico
No zones

Have a like friendo. Just don't let it go to your head and start posting nudes on Twitter or anything crazy.
Your wins in the 70's were superb, the great Len Smith and his acolyte T Shirt Tommy brought in the tall midfielders (eg Francis Bourke on the wing, big Billy Barret in the centre) which was the biggest revolution in our game at least since Barassi and Smith reinvented the ruck rover, and maybe since Dick Lee played the first true FF.Lol, Tigers won 5 Grand Finals 67-80 with the shittest country zone of all time. And another 3 in the AFL era, with rule makers again trying to thwart us at every turn. Pastries have won 2 in all that time. You might have to go and sit at the 0-1-2 Grand Final wins in the television era table. There Pastries, Melbourne, Dogs, Saints can all pass your judgements on each other with a bit more confidence. Leave the big boys Hawks, Tigers, Blues to argue over the finer detail of country zones etc.
Anyway, thanks for finally recognising the uphill battle we faced in achieving those 8 Grand Final wins against all odds. I knew deep down there was a bit of Richmond man in you Dopple, you are way too resourceful to be a pure bred Collingwood supporter.

Hafey was your best coach ever, and many all time greats in your 70's side. It took cheating Blues to bring you down.
Your two great dynasties, in the 20/30's and 60/70s faced incredible opponents: the Pies Machine steamrolled 3 or 4 flags off you and Barrassi's cheating Carlton at least two.
The Dimma brigade was a very smart side, but not in my view up there with your other dynasties. In this case I think it as about the coach, Fly I mean, although Hatrdwick contributed.
Anyway nick off to selling the hubcaps us pies supporters steal to sell you horrible Tigerflog, this is a Big Club thread so no room for you here.
The Pies always have been and always will be the League. The rest of you just get to play us.
OK maths boy, off you go.Hopefully in Grand Finals, because Collingwood has not beaten Carlton or Richmond in one of those since 1929. 95 seasons have been played since then.
Why do Tiger fans always want to turn every thread into a thread about the Tigers?Lol, Tigers...
