Reminder: This isn't the Israel/Hamas thread. Go to the Israel/Hamas thread if you want to talk about that. Thanks.

I wouldn't say there is a fear of Sharia replacing our law in this life time. But Muslims are extremely dedicated to their religion and could certainly push their agenda politically once they see a pathway.
Sure Jan!

If that is the case, then why do you continuously bring up frivolous figures about the UK alluding that 'Sharia will take over'

If you're not saying that then what are you saying?

Who's done that?
Not I.
In fact you don't even need to read my mind to know I didn't... Because I literally explained the logical steps I followed that lead to that view.

But off you go, play on.

You've no idea what the reason could possibly be. But you know I'm wrong.
You can't even attempt to engage with the foundational points I made.
You have to desperately ignore the fact that I also used my premise it to explain why YOU couldn't answer the question, and why no one you tagged would be able to answer the question.

That's interesting.
You never had any expectations for them to answer.
You refused to accept my answer.
And you've now pointed out that you didn't care what answer we gave you, you were just going to ignore it and say that we are discriminating because we "automatically assume racism".
Apologies,

But you give the impression that this irrational fear is a disingenuous veil for racism / bigotry, there's probably examples in your reply posting to those you seemingly oppose, but I'm not gonna go looking for them, and you're not alone.

Now that you've explained that you don't think this irrational fear is a veil for racism / bigotry, I'll expect you won't be alluding it anymore.

Read my posts again.

CLEARLY, I've been stating that one shouldn't assume racism / bigotry of someone because of irrational fear.

If you claim you're not understanding then you're just trolling.

Bye now.
But you don't know the answer and have no interest in finding out the answer.

You just don't want people suggesting an answer you don't like

Answering a question with a question which is not relevant to the question asked.

If you don't think Sharia law is a threat, then what are you saying? What is the point you're making?
Having a large percentage of your population potentially Islam and Parallel "councils" running is a massive threat to social cohesion and a prosperous multi cultural society imo.

Not to mention Muslims pushing their religious agenda in parliament.

We have no evidence that Westerners and Muslims can co exist successfully at those numbers.

Wide Eyed Wow GIF

Not the best, certainly not the worst.

Speculation.
Not to mention Muslims pushing their religious agenda in parliament.
Evidence?

We have no evidence they won't.

We have entire sects campaigning against equal rights, and wanting the right to sack people for being anything other than straight.

We probably have weirdo sects campaigning for all sorts of rubbish.

Not only are we tolerant about gay's etc, we are tolerant of wackjobs.

Catholic Church is the one I am talking about. They lobbied to retain the right to discriminate based on things like sexuality and gender expression. They have power. They cannot be trusted not to try and muscle law makers into giving them favours and shaping society in their own image.
