Cousins should have been sacked when it was revealed he was in contact with Michael Gardner and other underworld identities.

He has shown that he has not learnt his lesson at all. To continue to remain in contact with these identities shows that he has either taken us all for a ride with a so called addiction, or that he will lapse straight back into his old habits.

Anyone with any sense in his position would stay away from nightclubs, let alone the people he went there with.

He is a joke and a disgrace to the game. I would not have anything against him if he came back and tried to change his ways, but he has shown this is unlikely with his association with these colourful identities.

And what colourful identities are these ?

He was a guest on a private charter of a real estate agent, heading over to the East coast for the weekend, big deal.

John Kizon's plane, a convicted heroin trafficker, and other convicted drug dealers at a Melbourne night spot.

i saw him last weekend walking and talking with michael gardiner in south melbourne

but come on, they're mates. if west coast are gonna restrict him from seeing his mates i think thats a bit harsh

If this is actually true, and not just rumour, then yes, he has not learnt his lesson, and should be sacked. And I am one of his biggest supporters...

Where are you getting your 'facts' from?

Yeah, I agree. He is sure to offend again. But I don't think sacking him is the answer. Why not give him the death penalty! That way he won't hang around with undesirables!

Wait a minute, what about the after life? Surely there would be undesirables there! damm it! What are they doing with Alcatraz these days?

It was a charter plane hired by a well known real estate salesman and Victor Kizon was one of the guests, he was later spotted at night on the water behaving himself, big deal.

Time for some people to move on and stop getting star-struck.

I am thoroughly against the ridiculous circus that has followed Cousins. Sportsmen are identified and recruited at an increasingly young age (in all sports) and to hold semi-educated chaps living a unique existence up as role models is just plain poor parenting from where I sit.

The fact that he has resumed associations with people of questionable repute just affirms my view.

People in all strands of society use drugs and behave poorly. Why would football be any different? Because they should? Well no-one 'should' use recreational/illicit drugs, but they do. Reality is not always ideal. Sacking him would prove nothing other than papering over a problem.

That said, he really doesn't do himself any favours.

Probably the same way Hutchy gets his stories.

Gardiner and cousins are friends...they can hang out once in a while ffs
He's just got back from rehab. He's on an indefinite suspension from the game. There's still a cloud over remorseful he is. So he flies across the ****ing country to 'hang out' with another problem child in Michael Gardiner!

Seriously, shows all the brains of a 5 yr old. Watch a DVD, go fishing, take up bonsai, get a WoW subscription, anything. Emphatically do not go out on the town, certainly not with your druggie mates!
