2022 - lost 6 of the first 9; won 4 of the last 7
2023 - lost 8 of the first 9; won 3 of the last 7

Thanks for that, but to be a real comparison you should pick a run of games…say 5 and consistently anylise that

In comparison to other areas on the ground, ie when at our best we play all 4 of MacDonald, Ginnivan, Watson and Moore, often with Breust in addition as sub. Who is next man up from BH if one of them gets injured?

I hope so, seems to have all the attributes to make it in that high half forward role, but from what i've seen we play him a bit deeper and he has had very little impact.

I guess it's hard when MacDonald and Moore are ahead of you

To be fair Butler isn’t a forward and in the 2021 draft there isn’t anyone after him except CMac that you would even take now ahead of him with the possible exception of Soligo. I would love to see him on a wing or half back where he had the space to use his high cruising speed to be damaging that’s where he was best in his draft year. He may simply be at the wrong club now I can see him joining his brother at the saints at years end.

Seamus unfortunately was very shaky early in 2024. Didn't get as much ball as previous year nor did he use it as well. Was also a bit off defensively. I think we were counting on him to step up to play dimma forward but with the midfield struggling, Mitchell not playing so well Hardwick was needed down back.

I think we have enough firepower forward but Hardwick is a different look as a brute with forward craft and accurate kick.

Outside of Reeves and Barrass (and ignoring the kids under ~22 who are still finding their place), who else can't be shuffled around to another part of the ground?

Even someone 'limited' like Frosty can still play on talls or smalls if needed.

Weds is already arguably the most versatile player in the game. Can LITERALLY play in any position on the field.
