When you follow a football club, generally it doesn't become a way of life, unless you support Leeds United.
I have no doubt we have the best, most loyal and passionate fans in the world.

Based on what he's said previously, about 40. Maybe older.How old are you?
I'm surprised that the Liverpool posters on here weren't upset by thatPMSL. How insecure can you be.

As should typeclub . End the season now, award Barca the title. Save lives.
Well excuse me if I have bit of a chip on my shoulder supporting Leeds, given how many times the Football Gods have given us the Joan Collins Mattress Surfing treatment over the years.
Not apologizing for being passionate about my club
I meant that nowhere in that article does it say that Barcelona will get the title. Those are Courtois thoughts. I think LA Liga is looking to return next month more than anything and if the league is cancelled, they haven’t made their position known about what they would do.
Is 5 weeks after the death of Norman Hunter from Covid-19 enough time for you to desperately want football to return?
Says the guy who suddenly only realised how bad COVID was after it killed him.With the greatest of respect, brining up Norman Hunter and his sad passing is pretty much below the belt
I can't speak for any other LUFC fan, but IMHO Hunter's passing makes it even more important and emotionally charged for Leeds to be given the opportunity to finish what we started and gain the chance to go up.
Knowing the type of person Norm as a fan (admittedly abroad) he would not want his death to be a reason for football to be cancelled and Leeds denied our best chance in forever to go up.

If so I'm a bit confused as to why he hasn't seen them play if he loves them so much.Based on what he's said previously, about 40. Maybe older.

Logical reason Courtois is talking about it is because he has heard behind the scenes that Barca may be awarded the title if the season is concluded early. Especially the salty reply of "we were better than Barca".
The whole thing is sad. Not just one death.
Of course that is possible. I think like Germany, they will restart football in Spain or do everything in their power to get a restart.
Another one bites the dust
What were the standings at the time of the decision
Mexico does it weird. Season is split into two separate comps.
The first comp was completed and they had only just passed the half way mark of the second comp. They also had playoffs and finals to come also.
Cruz Azul had a 1 point lead
I meant Hunter.Its news to me that I am dead
I meant Hunter.
you have to try understand what it like supporting Leeds somewhat. We are all quite literally passionate about the Club to the point of insanity ;
I'm genuinely curious here, but do you honestly think that Leeds is unique in this regard?
Obviously. However I am still a bit annoyed at the insinuation that I was not aware of the significance and global magnitude of this virus before Hunter's passing, arguably living in one of the safest and relatively low level of threat nation like Australia has made me a bit naive as to thinking that the Domestic Football (UK) season can be completed, and obviously there is a a few posters here who are based in England, so naturally I probably should start to read and take heed of their opinions more seriously.
In the grand scheme of things, it probably doesn't seem important that Leeds win promotion or not, I just get this sinking feeling if we don't go up this year, Bielsa will leave, all our good players will want to leave, and we will be back for another depressing decade (at least) in the Championship.
I will admit I have probably being if not selfish or self-centered but ignorant over wanting the season to be completed, but you have to try understand what it like supporting Leeds somewhat. We are all quite literally passionate about the Club to the point of insanity ;
It's a hole. I don't even think Leeds people want to go to Leeds.And yet you've never been to Leeds?
