We would be extremely lucky to make it the way the boys are going about it. It is time to grow up, get tough, and go out there and erase the dissapointment everyone associated with our club is feeling right now. If I am to continue to support a team of directionless thugs they might as well be winning.

You only need to be in the best 50% of the comp to make the finals. But the bigger test is actually not making up the numbers (7 and 8, and even 5 and 6 to some degree).
Top four is not assured. It will be a hard year, but I have belief that the boys are good enough.

Silly Cuzz09?? We will make the 8 pretty easily, should make top 4, hopefully top 2 again to ensure two home finals at Subi.
I think it's time to get this comp in perspective. You can't judge their performance in the NAB Cup the same way as you would in the home and away season. Carlton's result last year is the perfect example of this. New players, tactics, strategies etc are being tried out - some successfully, so not so. Sure, the Eags aren't exactly on fire, but who is?
After watching every game over the last 2 weeks, I'm very confused about who to tip in Round 1. Let's wait until about round 6 before we start passing judgement on the team's prospects.

OK let me get my point across better - As Im am now not drunk off my brain!
I know we will make the 8 and Im very confident the boys will finish top 4.
This pre season has been so annoying and the fact that the only time I checked the score was when the saints were in front in the 3rd it all just got me peed off.

On looking at your original post not a great chance of you being drunk on or off your brain, your missing an ingredient in that formula.
