I hate Geelong with a passion, but imagine rocking up to the Cattery yesterday and seeing your team kick 23 goals (unanswered) in 3 quarters. I must confess I'm more than a little bit jealous: we're lucky to score that many goals in 8 quarters!!!

I've sat through worse years. I'll pay my bill for next season and that's what it has become under this current group, a yearly obligation.

Crowd numbers will be interesting though, it was already down this year and the atmosphere suffered for it. Play the same style and other things in life will take prioroity for me.

I'll renew, but I can't deny that the last few years have knocked some enthusiasm off. I no longer enjoy watching our games. The gamestyle is a chore to watch. But I am like a drug addict, I need my fix, Even if it hurts and is bad for my mental health.

In some ways the current situation is even worse than the 11 - 12 years. In those years I knew we were crap but saw that the club was on its knees, a chance of dying. I needed to go to try and do my bit to ensure the clubs survival. At that stage I thought the pain of those years would pay off. I could see some promising youngsters develop.

Watching our games is a real chore, it's a very negative gameplan, but our skills are so poor, I am not sure what gameplan would work.

I remember watching our football in 13, 14 it was at least exciting to watch, and with a bit of refinement and luck it could led to a Premiership. After the loss to Geelong in 13, Ken's takeaway was he went too defensive/negative too early. Now watching us, we go defensive way too early. Ken, listen to your post match comments after that game, and re-think the gameplan.

So, yes I will renew and still go every week. Not because of love anymore, it's an addiction.

Yes... even though I have no confidence in where we are heading on field as a club, I will renew my membership, and if the person next to me does not renew I will snap up their seat too.

As pathetic as the second half of the season has been (well the whole season just about), lets not all jump off the club otherwise we will be asking to go back to the 2008-2012 days and none of us want that!

We are platinum 5 members.

Drive down from Yankallila ever game.

Sitting in a shitty motel in Melbourne after that shit.

Am I questioning my emotional attachment right now?

What do you think.

You should have gone for a better hotel?

Funny you said that, we kicked 19 goals in our last 8 quarters.

And 5 of those in the first quarter last week, plus 4 in the first quarter yesterday. That leaves 10 goals in 6 quarters of footy - who wants to watch that???

The majority of regular posters on here are hard core supporters who like me will, or have already, given the current coach and/or hierarchy a well earned bake for their continued ineptitude, but most of us are rusted on and will renew our memberships.

The canary in the coal mine is of course how many of the more casual members, the ones who come and go for the `expected ' good times will take the bait again!

Will definitely renew my platinum membership again for next year.

But I implore everyone to get to the AGM when it is held.

We need to put the heat on Kochie and KT and make them accountable for their decisions.

Some like RussellEbertHandball or Fishing Rick needs to be our voice, enough is enough..we need answers, we have gone backwards since 2014, made the finals last year on the basis of the softest ****ing draw ever, which made KT and Kenny gloat about finishing 5th where we failed to beat a top 8 side. ****, enough is enough, how may years of this ******* can we tolerate before the club starts losing $$$$

Who are the same types who will continue to praise Ken and chastise dissenters as "not being supporters" on social.

If people feel that strongly about the situation it cannot be left to a few, it has to be done in big numbers.

The opportunity to express your voice is the AGM and, if you want to get a hearing, give the Club advance notice by sending them a signed letter. The letter can be signed by one person on behalf of others who have given them the authority to do so.

Not sure what the constitution says but there is a chance that, where no notification is provided, the club could simply shut down the discussion.

Yes, because Black Diamond has seats I like, a grand final guarantee (hahaha), and a wait list, and because membership renewal is not a referendum on management, coaches, or players.
