Turned on the Freo/Port game last night just on the half time siren. Heard Gerard Healy say that McPhee spent the first half in the midfield... for three handballs. Zero marks, zero kicks, zero tackles. I know they didn't have big Sandilands and I'm not really trying to stick it to the guy but..

Surprise, surprise started the third quarter down back.

Alot of running in circles for zero results. He just doesnt know where to position himself at all, he had zero impact.

Blame his manager and the EFC for not getting a deal done earlier then. You can't just throw an offer at a player and expect him to sign it straight away. For all we know, it could have been a god awful contract, not offering him any bonuses, and for only 2 years instead of the 3.

As it turns out, McFree decided to not sign the contract, but becuase of the delays in getting said original contract to him, it never got reselved before the trade period was finished. BIG ERROR, but not all the blame should fall on the EFC as is believe the manager would have had a HUUUUGE paert in this fiasco.

his recent form definitely did not warrant a 3rd year, and i dont think many essendon people would have him in a projected best 22 for 2012. so he should have left earlier, simple as that! rather than screwing us, now hes playing for you guys for 3years and he will screw you guys in 2012 aswell! if you think he fumbles now wait untill hes 30 and slower!!
