And deservedly so too.Maybe if we're successful we can add the premierships to our VFL/AFL tally. That's what a real power club would do.
What a strange question... She obviously wouldnt play if she was pregnant. And whats 100 games got to do with it?My question is what happens when one of our players gets to 100 games for my club and then has a son?
Father/son rule. What a strange question... She obviously wouldnt play if she was pregnant. And whats 100 games got to do with it?
You're a Spur so I won't give a smartarse responseMaybe if we're successful we can add the premierships to our VFL/AFL tally. That's what a real power club would do.
Oh I see, went straight over my head, apologies Ichabod Noodle .Father/son rule.
And the AFL are going to bring in father/daughter, planning on looking at mother/son and mother/daughter down the road too. Different rules as 100 games will be a tough threshold for the women to hit early but they're planning on it.
You can never have too much nepotism in a professional sport. And the AFL are going to bring in father/daughter, planning on looking at mother/son and mother/daughter down the road too. Different rules as 100 games will be a tough threshold for the women to hit early but they're planning on it.
Pretty much how Carlton and Collingwood got their licences (or is that cronyism). You can never have too much nepotism in a professional sport.
I believe they were put in place when the glass house addition was constructed. We've also got a netball court, which the vixen's briefly used. What? You put womens change rooms in?
Anyone who would take that comment seriously needs to lighten the **** up.Anyone who would be embarrassed by that has incredibly thin skin and needs to get the **** over themselves
The 60%+ female membership probably gave them the edge over WestI'm surprised Freo got the nod ahead of West Coast
This is an AFL run competition fairness and equality have no business here.Wait so the tournament is a 6 round tournament despite the fact there are 8 teams... surely the extra round to play everyone once is possible?
Some cluba definitely see a financial benefit to it, clubs don't seem to have issues getting sponsors for their women's teams and of it can help bring fans to the game overall it's a good investment.
Also as mentioned, the AFL isn't a for profit organisation and this will be good for the game overall
Yes. By law their profits have to go back into the development of the game.Wait a sec. The AFL is not a for profit organisation?
Well, it's preferable to having missed out and arsed our rebuild, with little prospect of adding any flags to the collective tally...I'm glad we didn't get a license.
It's going to be very embarrassing when the Bulldogs women's team has more flags in a couple years than the male side.
We don't need that.
Its a good thing too otherwise you'd have an executive incentivised by such things as money and revenue as opposed to the good of the gameYes. By law their profits have to go back into the development of the game.
Sarcasm? Its a good thing too otherwise you'd have an executive incentivised by such things as money and revenue as opposed to the good of the game
The hysterical Saints fans in here are probably the same ones happy to ditch Seaford and wanted to move to Junction Oval yet somehow want to be exclusivelyknown as the bayside/penninsula club of Melbourne. How about making a long term plan to put back into the area rather than rip-off local councils if you wish to claim a geography as your own.
Of courseSarcasm?
Then why wasn't it St Kilda and Melbourne or St Kilda and the Dogs?err
Do you know where Moorabbin is?
Do you know where the Trevor Barker Oval is?
You know the two ovals that the Saints have committed to as training and playing bases for many years to come.
Do you know that the Saints have been supporting the women's club development in the bayside area for many years and that this is why it is the strongest zone for female footballers in Oz?
Because the AFL is an old boys club and would prefer Carlton and Collingwood. Then why wasn't it St Kilda and Melbourne or St Kilda and the Dogs?
No club gave a rats about this until they saw just how successful the Dees and Dogs were.
