Worst game by an individual in modern footy

Ben Holland absolutely shut down Anthony Rocca twice on QueensBirthday.
2006, 3 Disposals and 1 Goal
2007, 2 Disposals and No Score
At least when a key forward has a down day it’s just means they’re quiet and need other avenues to score to win the game.

Hampton was hurting them both with his lack of disposals and his inability to win any contest anywhere on the ground.

Lewis Jetta 4 disposal effort in the 2014 Grand Final was pathetic, no tackles and avoided contact like the plague.

This was the epitome of bad.... Would be ashamed to have been a Swans fan and have had that pea heart running around in my teams colours after that.

We’re halfway through the third quarter of tonight’s game and much is being made by the commentators of the fact Curtly Hampton is yet to register a stat (though I believe he may just have registered a handball).

Got me thinking about truly terrible games by individuals, from Kade Simpson’s multiple 0 possession efforts at the start of his career to Zac Dawson’s infamous mauling by Rocca. Also remember Djerrkurra having to be subbed off for us to arrest one of the all time shockers.

What stands out to you?
When I saw that segment the first thing I said to myself was "Never heard of him" and that included tonight's game.

Hampton was as handy as an ash tray on a motor bike. If he ever plays another game for the Crows then the match committee needs to be questioned.
Also Milera was terrible and gave up the ball almost every time he had it and he had it 20 times. Some Stats mean stuff all in modern footy. Milera was easy 2nd WOG.

I still don't know how Abraham hurts his knee during that

Watch the way he lands in the reverse camera angle. Left knee.

Totally bizarre. Wasn’t even really trying to tackle. I think he thought he was unsighted or something and could run through him.

I think he was only 26. Spectacular player but gone at that age. Apparently his surgery and rehab didn’t go well and he was delisted.

I can see how he injured his knee but still how do you try to tackle someone but end up ending your own career, the most awkward injury in footy history

Anthony Rocca registered -2 dreamteam points one day. One kick, one handball and a free against, or something close to that.
Danny Nichollls registered negative supercoach points for his one-game career with us.

I think that one will be hard to top. Literally ranked last of everyone ever to have existed in total Supercoach points at AFL level.

He was rubbish for us too, but I don't recall any zero-possession games.

How do you play 44 career games and not once pass nine touches? Amazing.
Took it to an entirely new level of shitness when he arrived up here. We were ready to neck ourselves en masse if he got another game.

You lot still owe us for that late trade period brain explosion. After this week though, Chambers might even get a gig if he was still available.
