So who are all these guys going to Nth Footscray ?

I am sure that all club have a large list of possible recruits. We just like other any other side have potentials that we hope will put pen to paper.

As mentioned by Red Devil, I am confident the devils will be stronger than this season and will be looking step it up in 2008.

Re: Parkside back on track
Anyone who hasn't played in recent years knows little about what really goes on, from the constant in house fighting to the flippers on a friday night. Parkside is a disgrace and there will be no resurgance with the type of half wits running the club. Any decent player has left as it would be morally wrong to accept anything parkside have to offer. No wonder half the committee left, these are smart business men who know when its time to jump ship. For the few wanna be die hards, namely the wanna be president (****er) Saleopek trying to rekindle his existence in society it will be history that is made, either the folding of the club as everyone that has left will never return or relagation for the first time.

s salopek since becoming reserves coach and in charge of the football department has resulted in the downfall of the club, he has burnt and unfairly treated most of the lebanese players and the others who have played reseves for his mates that are in there 30s and most took of this year. yes alot of seniors took off aswell but had these reserves players been treated right they could of filled in a couple of gaps. the players where all mates and enjoyed each others company but the people running the joint where tools , so that is why every one left and that is why more are leaving and most will never return until he is gone

Common theme I sense. Always treated unfairly in some way to do with their nationality. I suppose Shepparbottom doesn't like them either because not many played seniors in 2007. Players are treated on many things like ability and nationality is not one of them.

I also suspect that the main reason that most of the talent has left is because the big bucks has run out. Thats the bottom line. Doesn't sound too good down at parkside.

Your posts 224 and 229 combined with 335 may suggest you have a couple of personalities. Parkside are looking ok or are they in trouble. Make up your mind.

thats becuase there was none left they had taken off at the end of 2006, if you played or ask players that played in 2004, 2005 the whole reserves team was full of lebanese players, than in 2006 they were weeded out and not getting picked becuse s salopek had taken over as coach from nick condos and was playing all his mates

If they are ressies players than why did the seniors get smashed every week????

Isn't it funny how the race card always gets played when things don't go their way

Id like to know which lebanese players were playing 2nds & should of been playing in the 1st last year ?
I watched most games this year & beleive me that isnt the truth
The only games the 2nds won is when some older players came back to help out

not saying i know whats going on at parkside but i used to play at a club where the majority of players were lebanese. im not generalising all lebanese people but we had fights every single week on and off the ground and even with their own coach....and thats if they showed up to the game at all. they were very unreliable and aggressive but without them my club would not have had enough players to fill the sides so in a way they were keeping the club afloat if those players left the club would fold. parkside may be the same now.....all downhill from here

You answered your own question you dont know whats going on down there parkside has missed the finals once in 15 years & ive never seen someone not turn up for the senoirs or a player punch on with the coach
With an attitude like yhat you wouldnt of played down there too long
TRUST ME

Hey Karim,

I have noticed on your website that Albanvale have picked up David Connell from Tullamarine in the EDFL to coach the under 18s. I heard he had a falling out there at the end of the year after being droppped for the Grand final after playing every game.

Is he playing at Albanvale as well or just coaching. Would be a handy pick up if was playing. Add some experience and is very smart.

you didnt read the post correctly, they were players and non lebanese players aswell that took off at the end of 2006, the seniors made the finals in 2006, they wernt at the club this year in 2007

dont believe the excuses parkside are saying when they say everyone took off becuse we had no money, most players wanted to leave or where saying they were going to leave at the end of the 2006 season
