He is an OK tap ruckman, but gee he must be getting on. There are not many great ruckman in Div.2 though. Kennedy from Lavo by a mile.

Just got back from the club and the Devils are absolutely primed this week. OK I may have had a few sherbets, but I think we will beat Albanvale.

the big conjack at west last year was pretty good. big game this week 1's and 2's . who ever wins in the 2's will win the flag , i think albanvale by 5+ but if RD1 turns it on it could be very close .

Is that the same spider that played at Braybrook a while ago? He must have improved a fair amount as I remember he used to have trouble just getting the basics right. (left foot, then right foot, then left foot, then right foot)

i havnt seen him this year but is a very smart ruck man i can remember him getting bog in divy 1 against the top teams so i think he would be 1 of the best tap ruck man in the comp ur a dill no cash

should be back soon, spider was the number one ruckmen in 2006 when parkside were good and iceman is right he did get a few bogs one was against hoppers, the only reason why he didnt play seniors all the time is becuase him and phil didnt see eye to eye but when phil moved on spider was a permanent ones player. and weapons yes it is just a website but you should know the types of characters that play in wrfl and any excuse will do

Yeah maybe but spida played many of games in the 1s in that period when parks were one of the best A grade clubs & were very strong in the 1s & twos
How many A grade flags have you played in ? I dont think how many flags you have played in can ever tell the story of how good you were just ask garry ablett snr or nathan buckley ect ect ect

love the loyalty shown to spider by his mates but i've seen and played against him when parks were strong in div 1 and he was a fringe player, would only get a game if parks had injuries to the tall timber

as i said in a previous post Parksides ruckman(daddy long legs spider)if he stopped his whinging to the umpires and to the team that is beating him he may do alright but till then i wouldnt have him in the top 5 ruckmen in div 2

Yes if you call being able to tap good then he is very good. As for kicking and handballing his skills are not too flash. For his height he should be taking 15 to 20 marks a game which he is no where near. My guess is he takes 5 at the most per game.

How much of a footballer would he be if he was 5 ft 10, not very good at all.

I think the point was that it was quoted that Spider played at Parkside in their premierships and it was merely pointed out that he didn't. I suggest you read the posts properly if you are going to make a half a r s e d attempt at being argumentative.

Are you serious maybe you should read the posts properly his first statement was hes only a ressies ruckman which he was far from & he never played in a senior granny which was true but he just missed out on a few occasions
& who asked for your opinion anyway mouth whats your claim to fame in footy besides being one of the best snag eaters in melbourne

What did i tell ya hustle and ball, good win by the Parkers.
It looks like North Footscray is the team to beat, whats happening karim, is the choke starting to tighten. As for the ruckman that plays for the magies, he's ok, but my Man spida made him earn every kick.

Terrific 64 point win by the Devils today over the Cobras. Be interesting to know the last time Albanvale have lost by that much at home. Always tough to beat there.

Very even performance with no real standouts. Daniel Neville set the game alight in the first half for North. Best were probably Monteleone, Phillips, Drew and Wilson but like I said an even performance.

Magoos pumped a previously undefeated Albanvale also who had former skipper Wingy and Growie (Growcott?) playing for them.

Cobras are still a good running side with some handy forwards. However, still lack key position players which IMO has been an issue for years. Bloke at full back (42) tried hard but is more a of a flanker and Bassi is the only tall up forward.
