Only personal reason I hear is that he wants the club to go up to Div1 but the club doesnt want to so he has decided to stand down.

Well done Glenorden and Nick Diker on winning the premiership . People out there dont realise how hard it is to win a premiership some that i know who played for over 20 years since they were kids never got to win one so lap it up boys enjoy it and to the others out there that are carrrying on all you have to do is work harder at youre club to make it a success.

I doubt GO will be ok, I expect a mass exit of most players.
Without nick and elevato, GO will be a one hit wonder, similar to coco jumbo

If true, what a great culture this club has provided in its first year. Banned from its sponsors pub, not once but twice; Ex player (who they recruited) gets suspended for 14 weeks for running onto the ground during a reserves game at their ground and whacking someone; Now this (if true), the Junior parents must be looking forward to their kids being part of this 'culture' in the years to come

Little birdy tells me that North Footscray have named there co- coaches for next year and it is Shaun Borlase and Matthew Walsh. Word around the town is they have already signed at least half a dozen top-line 1st divvy players with more signings to happen soon,

Weak as piss coaching staff and committee have waited too long to stamp out the shit.
Too scared to be the worst side by clearing out some good players for the sake of culture. Well guess what. They may be the best players that you have walk into the club, because no guns will want to join a rabble, and you won't have the sponsors on board to cover the costs, as they keep on getting burnt!
But Waddell forked out of his own pocket for Allen to cross over from Altona. Might be a big waste if they won't field a side in div 3 anyway!
We know who has the better lake. We are the boags lake, when you fall in the water makes you better. Opposite at Sanctuary Lakes!

Dunno about Fortune.
I don't have an issue with players leaving to go to better comps. Barolli and Fortune are too good for Div2 and should challenge themselves to play a higher level. Young MacDonald has been at the Jets and doing well. He should be knocking on the doors of VFL clubs.
Rumours suggest that Diker wanted the Div 1 challenge but the club didn't. If true, a great effort stand by his principles and walk away.

Heard rumors S/Heights picked up a new coach. Anyone got the goss on this?
Rick Munn has been appointed Senior coach for the next 3 seasons. Is a past player of the club and has spent time at Nth Footscray and more recently Point Cook. Fits in very well with where the club is at and we are very happy with the appointment
quote me if im wrong, but wasnt it common knowledge before the season even started that should GO win the GF, they were not going to go up, im sure ND knew this!!!

so if GO dont go up to div1 then what happens to north footscray do they have to endure another season of getting belted in div 1. Which will do no one any good or do they get to drop down to div 2 and get the chance to rebuild and win some games
