All you heights boys out there.....
Is it true you only had about 10 at training thursday night?????
Someone who was down there that night confirmed this to me.
Pretty piss poor effort, oh that right... the dogs at the meadows where on that night! Maybe that explains a few things.

Maybe Delaney can answer that if he was there.... I know that I ducked in for a pot across the road close to 7 and looked closer to 20 on the track then.

Who do u know that trains at Heights?

Yeah sort of right. Early on when I arrived there were about 10 at about 6.10 pm. By about half past and for the rest of training numbers were about 20. Still a lot less than the 30 we have been getting.

whats the story down at altona, falcons and braybrook? havnt heard much on these clubs for pick ups and losses? thanks boys

First of the clearances are up on the WRFL Website. Not much listed at the moment:
Coburg have 4 players coming in, Saliba (Centrals 05) to West Footscray and Travis Cook from Yarraville to Wyndhamvale are probably the only names of any interest.

I've seen old man Balshaw wearing the Bows kit....Maybe he takes that part of the training!!

Weapons... which squad to u train with, at the ground or at the bowling club with Balshaw and 95% of the squad?

bows kit???????

round 6 is it .............cant wait.................

u wanna slice of the pie bangers?????youve probably laid your bets for the week

Bowls kit mate... I'll be a bit more careful with that spelling.

Now that the clearances are starting to go up on the Web site why don't you name a few of yours?

What does 37points $$$$ mean?

Righto if u wanna stop the crap, just post something productive on here to start things off. U might think that its me stirring but if you read back I have offered alot more stuff for the Big Footy users than you.

That is a real shame about Centrals (not). Brunswick Powerless hardly strenghten the credibility of the league either. Get rid of them both!

A little harsh Red Devil. Central Altona will be remembered for the last few years unfortunately. Prior to that they were a good solid club dating back to the 70's I think. The area didn't really lend itself to continued growth with juniors etc which is where things fell down. Most area's have youngsters being born and coming through the ranks but Central Altona is an old area.

As for Brunswick credibility or not the club gives the opportunity for the aboriginal community to be involved in a sporting club whether as a player or official, thus gives some a purpose or meaning in their life. It gives the younger aboriginals the chance to develop discipline, learn about working hard and achieving. Yes they are not very good but sometimes its not about winning or being sucessfull its about a whole lot more.
