The squash matches were mainly to show their athleticism and in ring capabilities. With their move set, there’s no way they’d be heels. Big blokes doing flips and springboard moves is not very heel like.

Have they ever been heels? Maybe early on in ROH? I swear Rowe back in his ROH days got in a motorcycle accident and ROH used that in a storyline to get him sympathy from the crowd. Then they went to NXT and they were faces and now on raw.

The KOTR should be used to build up new stars, Richochet was a perfect choice.

Booking for next year, would love a Gargano vs Ciampa final with Ciampa winning it, would work so well for his gimic and can use it to be a big time arrogant heel on the cusp of the main event.

Ha, no Booker had range. Different accent. Black Snow was amazing as well, had the gimmick of calling matches he was actually wrestling in "Black Snow lights up young Dutt's chest with a slappy wappy"

The accent used to change quite regularly from british to african. It was hillarious but you just got to respect him for committing to the gimmick.
