I've NEVER finished a Forza Horizon game and I own them all lol. I'd have a better chance at 100% them if they weren't open world/free roam and I was able to just select each event via a menu .

In saying that my Forza history is patchy (the motorsport series). I never finished Forza 2, I got extremely close to driver level 50 before I had a data corruption wreck my progess. When I had the motivation to restart I got up to level 25 and it happened again. So I cracked it and never went back.

I purchased THE Special Editions of 3 and 4, never finished them. However I did finish the career modes of 6 (when I first got the Xbox One) and 7 (last year). I got 5 as a free download and I only ever did 5 races lol.

Yea I’m not a huge car racing fan tbh I’ll still give it a go abit later tho…

Scrolling through the backwards compatibility was like a trip down memory lane,

But yea seriously game pass is crazy good there’s almost to much to choose from it’s making the decision harder

Just pick out 2 or 3 to start with, see how you go with finishing them (some titles on game pass will take maybe less than an hour to finish, others anywhere from 3 to 60 hours).


Don't take my recommendation to heart (it's a nieche puzzle title) but I played through Gorogoa last night. Took me about an hour, but it's a puzzle game where you move 4 squares around to watch mini cinematics/comics play through. It can apparently be sped through under 30 minutes (a youtube video does it in about 23).

Just get GamePass. I have bought 1 xbox game in my life (RDR2), and even that was on GamePass at one point.

+1 for gamepass ultimate. Back in the day I would buy a lot of games but now I'll just check gamepass library to fill my time until the new games eventually make it there, very good value considering it has games for PC as well so my 6yr old gaming laptop still gets a run on some classic titles

thats a game i desperately need to replay. i have done one playthrough and kinda rushed it cause i didnt want to be spoiled of the ending need to truly experience it for its fullest

i do find it weird they have the new plague tales game coming out on the game pass but dont have the first one on it

I get bored quickly with Car sim games. Horizon keeps me entertained longer, the fact you can go open world and just do your own thing keeps it more interesting than a track based game.

Game Pass Ultimate is definitely the best option, gives you Live Gold and all the Xbox One and Series X exclusives in one place (I think), also gives you EA PLAY games like Battlefield, FIFA, Dead Space and Mass Effect. Even has modern titles like Rainbow Six which makes moving across from PC or PS4 easier since you don’t have to repurchase all your games again.

As for actual games, I recommend playing the Halo and Gears of War games in chronological order if you’ve never played them.

Yea got game pass for a dollar which was nice, downloaded games like grounded and ori so far will give them a go then maybe halo abit later

That’s actually a great idea going up and picking the ones not on gamepass at game store

yea its not usually a game id play cause i wouldnt really pay for it but since its on the game ass might aswell

i do like the art style of the game tho from what ive seen, im not really into hyper realistic graphics and xbox are kinda switching to this more artsy/cartoon graphic style with there games which i love
