Microsoft offering Nintendo and Steam a 10 year deal will make them look good.

Gabe Newell - “Phil and the games team at Microsoft have always followed through on what they told us they would do so we trust their intentions and c) we think Microsoft has all the motivation they need to be on the platforms and devices where Call of Duty customers want to be."

Seems like it’s Sony vs everyone else.

I did laugh at the Nintendo deal, will it be COD Mobile?
It'll all go through just taking a bit longer, did read that one of the issues was before the Bethesda deal was done Microsoft made out to the FTC that Elder Scrolls and Starfield would continue to be multiplat and then Microsoft changed that after the deal was done.

I always thought that at least Starfield was announced for Playstation.

Was reading, that is incorrect. There is a document out there and it doesn't say that.

Anyway, give me Diablo 4 on GP.

Pretty entertaining reading through social media threads on this as someone who simply doesn't give a shit. I don't care about Activision stuff like CoD and I'll be playing Diablo 4 on PC.

The best are the ones passionately complaining about Sony's practices but simping hard for an even bigger Microsoft.

Console wars are truly alive and well, and I think people just want more free stuff lol.

A mate has a Samsung 2022 TV so while I was there I logged into game pass and checked out the inbuilt streaming.

Works pretty well to be fair, really easy to pair his old PS4 controllers.

Cricket 22 ran pretty well and we even got Flight Simulator going. Only game that didn’t feel great was Halo Info.

We’re after a new TV for the bedroom. I’m strategically keeping it Samsung for Gamepass 🤣

On Gamepass

Anyone played Hi Fi Rush? It shadow dropped this week and is getting rave reviews. Played the first couple of levels and it seems really high quality so far.

Not yet but I downloaded it. I never heard about it either and when I saw it on Game Pass I thought it looked cool and then watched some game play on Youtube. Will give it a go later, it looks pretty fun.

I went in expecting not to enjoy it but was very pleasantly surprised. Finished the story last night and had a great time with it, enough so that I will probably give the post-game content a go before Hogwarts Legacy comes out.

Another game that I thoroughly enjoyed that I would never have tried if it wasn't for Game Pass.

Hey Team,

My wired razer PC headset from 10+ years ago is falling apart and I need to purchase new ones.

I'm looking at a wired headset that I can take between the PC when i'm working to the xbox with ease.

I'm no audiophile and I was thinking of purchasing the xbox one.

Are there better options for a reasonable price? my main priority is probably comfort

Cheers

No answer about headphones, so I'm calling you out 😜

Any good resources I can read to find what would suit my needs?

Those wired Xbox ones aren't too bad. I have some limited edition ones I bought once and they're OK. I don't use them because I have better and more expensive ones but for that price range you're probably getting a better deal on the support of all those standards like Dolby. Comfort wise they're super light. They use a single TRRS connector too so just know if you want to use them on PC you'll have to make sure you have a port that supports that or get a TRRS splitter.

How did you go with this?

I'm getting to the same boat with my wired turtlebeach XO sevens which I adore.

I need decent sound and mic monitoring in any headset I buy and i'd be happy to spend up to a couple hundred if anyone had any recommendations.

I would prefer wired purely because I am 101% certain that i won't have an issue with them not pairing with my controller when I turn on my wired pair.

I went with the hyperx cloudx

All reviews everywhere recommended them best bang for the buck.

I've only used them for meetings on PC not gaming but they work great and really comfortable.

Since they're designed for the Xbox I'm sure gaming would be good to like the reviews mentioned.

I'm happy with them for the price.
