I love this thread. To Sheedy, who said earlier this year we wont win the flag, your muppet and YOUR WRONG! To all the Collingwood haters who started threads on the main board about how we are gonna choke and it will be good to see Collingwood make the GF just to choke. YOU WERE ALL WRONG! To the media, they are all Collingwood haters. YOUR WRONG AS WELL. Lets enjoy sticking it right up everyone and make them hate us even more.

To all those Carlton flogs who were so adamant that they would win a premiership with their list before us. Also it is also sweet that Maxwell was a premiership captain at the Pies before Judd won one at the Blues.

You were all wrong.

I would prefer to have a control freak premiership coach who is in the midst of training a replacement than a series of traitors or people who have jumped ship all at one time leading to a club of complete instability.

In short, Frank, you were completely wrong about the Buckley-Malthouse move, and completely wrong about Bomber Thompson and Gary Ablett. Both are now GONE, along with McCartney and if Hinkley gets the job, watch out for the Sanderson move.

Yep. Teetotal, puritanical p**ck who was observed barracking furiously for Brisbane during the 2003 GF and took enormous delight in our misery that day.

Oh - and he loves Geelong so much that he's just announced that he's moving the HQ of his very-substantial business interests to Melbourne. Good one Frank.
 
I was upset at Malthouse, I admit. But after round 5, sitting through our last 10 years, looking at our players, I had faith. Even bet someone I'd eat my hat if we didn't win the premiership after winning in round 8. Still got my hat!

Eat it all my ex co workers who thought we'd bow out in the prelim!
 
The most obvious one is Caroline Wislon. YOU WERE WRONG MUPPET!!!!

Then I hear her yesterday saying our Premiership was tainted after the complaint last week :confused: Great to see her hate us winning a Premiership so bad. Wonder if she'll still bang on about Mick and Bucks next year.

Also I totally agree on the Frank Costa one. God that comment came back and bit him on the arse. Now Geelongs falling apart. Coach is gone, Assistant is gone, Gun player is gone and President is shortly gone. I think I know which club is in disarray. Looks like that spanking we gave them in the finals has ended their dominance. Suck on that Frank. YOU WERE WRONG!!

I was wrong. I didn't think we could win a flag with Leroy in the team until about round 16.

There, I admit I was wrong, unlike St Kilda who still insist that Jack Reiwoldt's crybaby cousin is premiership captain material. :D

I'll put my hand up for at various stages declaring that BJ, Tooves and MacCaffer won't be any good/be in our next premiership team.

BJ is now a running machine and doesn't appear to butcher the pill as often as he used to. A true Collingwood person. Geez he's going to love having Taz back!

Tooves was MM's project player (much like Johnno)who he saw something in far before any of us did. He was superb this season and only got better as the season went on.

MacCaffer played his role superbly late in the season, and whilst I still have concerns over his set shots, he has great hands, plays his role and has a great work rate across half forward.

Not sure what odds he had...likely around 7-2, depends when he took it.

Still, that dodgy Milne bounce and Kosi's spoiled/spilled mark very late, cost him a pretty nice, all paid for, home somewhere.

don't forget chris judd on the "you were wrong' list - i believe he chose carlton over collingwood? as michael caton said at the end of The Castle, 'bad luck. ya d*ckhead!!"
 
Me...for telling anyone who would listen upon his appointment that Maxy was not even in our best 22...How could we make him Captain?? I remember the screaming pain of frustration i felt and being the only sane person on this planet....

I WAS WRONG - and will forever tell people I was wrong to mask my guilt :(
