Here is classic parrot. This comment was made in Round 6 in response to my Match Preview when we played the Blues.

A very long "Pretty" "template post", but again flawed. You forgot who's going to matchup Garlett and Simmo. They've been our 2 most influential smalls. Plus Houllihan has been great on the flank. Your midfield looks very light on for talent and is going to struggle. Thomas has been terrible as a midfielder. Thought his best work was as a back pocket. He might be a good option to tag one of the Blues dangerous smalls.
The one point you did get right was that Malthouse is going to try to shut down the Blues run. i.e. he'll Flood.

Yes, definitely think we should use Thomas as a back pocket from now on and I think our midfield does lack a bit of class.

Coming from the supporter of a team who has 1 good midfielder who polled 30 votes...and the next best was 9.

I'll also give a shout out to that spud Gerard Whately, who likes to sound like a statesman, but is just another biased spud journo. He also said Collingwood can't beat Geelong and are scared of them. Even after we beat them in Round 19, he said Geelong were holding back and had a few things to introduce for the finals.

Oh really, Gerard? Like a an embarrassing smashing of epic proportions perhaps!?

I think no one has bothered to mention Tim Pig Lane because he is less than irrelevant, maybe even invisible. I listened to a replay of the 1990 grand final on my digital radio recently. I think it was ABC broadcast or something?

Anyway, we all know what happened in that match as the Pies dismantled and humiliated the Bombers. Pies were up by almost 7 goals midway through the third qtr and all Tim Pig Lane could talk about was the famous comeback in 1970 and the 44 point half time margin. Therefore he was clearly hoping the Bombers would make a famous comeback too.

So in summary, Tim Pig Lane is irrelevant and always should be in Pies supporter's eyes.
