Stewart Crameri's arrival to Footscray is seen as a huge loss to the Bombers who landed a paltry pick in a shallow draft.

This move came as a result of stronger bonds with departed coach Brendan Mac. Should Bomber Thompson and his staff learn from this and invest more time and effort into building relationships?: While the Bulldogs' coach travelled to the Crameri home in their bid to secure the forward, Bomber opted to call the home and when Stewart's dad answered, Bomber asked, have we met before? (they had met several times) and this in essence spoke volumes to the family.

No. #### him. He went for the bigger coin and other personal reasons. If he made up his mind to leave because no one made a personal visit to his house..well...that's life.

He knew we valued him as a player- we just didn't want to give him the big fat pay check..yet.

That's footy- that's business.

Good luck to him. No hard feelings from me and thousands of other Dons supporters.

Does it really matter? It's all over and done with, was always going to the dogs.

It is more a reflection on current attitudes towards players and the risk that more players will look elsewhere unless they feel they are valued.

You mean make sure they get that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Feeling loved and wanted?

Wake up sunshine....ffs

Underestimate this at your own peril.

Big companies around the business world invest big dollars into making valued employees feel valued. The fact is, the Bulldogs poached your three time leading goal kicker due to the club's inability to make him feel valued.

And they poached hall and they poached aka and they poached minton connell and they poached con gorizidis

ahhh...Simon Minton-Connell....the memories of that stallion of a man.

Don't worry muppet....I'm sure the rest of the squad feel valued. Maybe Stu was just a bit too sensitive for us.

Make sure you look after him now at Bulldog land. Hold him close OK...

Sorry, I'm really not sure what the point of this thread is.

Crameri chose the Dogs. We've been over the reasons many times, and I'm not sure why we need a separate thread to discuss it.
