The only time I ever came to a physical confrontation was at a Freo game in 2008 when Pav hit the post and we won by less than a goal. Some mouth breather from the burbs wanted to take me outside just for wearing a Geelong scarf in front of families and the like. This was just as we were walking outside so I offered to take him up on his offer but he slunk off in to the crowd telling me to **** off as he walked fists clenched. Hope some other poor bastard didn't cop it.

Holy shit only time I was ever abused exact same game. Walking out towards the train station some dero threatening to kill me and all the good stuff. I just remember having a giggle.

First afl game I went to. I wasn't expecting too much and the slow start didn't help. Really thought we were a chance when we kicked 4 in a row to get within a a few points in the last but couldn't finish them off.

I proposed to my now wife at that game, via the back of the Geelong banner (thanks to the cheer squad). Bad memories of that game all round really!

'Seniors' great game (as some have mentioned ) was a ripper.

Obviously Bombers' sandwich, and the result, was unforgettable.

And then the State of Origin 1984 game was a beauty, and while technically not a "Cats" game, it was really about Gazza, and I'm claiming it as a Geelong memory at Subi.
