Greenwood is so vital they may just pull the trigger, hes had a better PS than last year too although not the best.

yeah thanks same. I hope you are. With that said we play an injury depleted Hawks at home, followed by Sydney at the SCG then Cats at home. If we can get through those three games with wins, we can nurse Greenwood back as we have some rather "soft" games after that till R10.

We picked Hugh off a worse pre season than what hes had this year, albeit with a greater injury toll.

I reckon if he plays a JLT game you can lock him in for R1. Currently theres going to be some unlucky players, which is awesome to have.

I don't think Greenwood will have had enough time on the track and have shown enough by round one. But will happily be wrong about that.

If Greenwood doesn’t play, I think CEY will come in. I think they like having a genuine big bodied mid in the side. He isn’t in the best 22, but CEY will likely come into the side anytime M.Crouch or Greenwood misses.
I’ve heard a few people at the club saying CEY is having a great preseason.

Agree, we have no need to risk underdone players in round 1, given nearly all are fit. We are better off trying a McAdam type.

This is just the same meat for the masses PR they do every preseason, where all the injury prone players are fit, the players injured in preseason haven't lost a step and will be there round 1, everyone's burning up the track setting PBs, and half the side is in for a shock switch of position this season. Not worth reading anything into it.

if you listen to the actual interview it wasn't as strong a comment as the tweet makes it seem.
If anything he was mostly referring to Milera with Smiths name just been thrown up as also having the versatility (rather than being an actual move)

Good team, but imo their midfield lacks depth & we should be able to control that which will go a long way

Milera, Smith & Laird likely to play majority in defence with stints in the midfield... so we can look to switch the likes of Gibbs as a half back sweeper at times... particularly with Brad back.
