Probably both games against Freo. The first one for winning despite facing two five goal deficits during the game, which we erased in about 15min both times, and managed to hold on for a win we didn't deserve to. The second one was special because we were two players down at halftime, one to an absolute dog act, and yet we still pounded the sniping p***ks by 12 goals.

The first games against the Roos and Swans were good wins too, mainly due to virtuoso performances by the little maestro Gaz junior.

Beating Carlton in Round 1 was great because of all the banter pre-season.
Hawks in Round 20
Beating the Lions in that see-sawing game.
The Freo game in Round 4 too when we smashed the **** out of them when everyone had written our season off.

the hawks win was good, especially since they just won the premiership. For me it was the Lions game, came from 5 goals down in the last quarter to win. all of those wins u mentioned we're great.

North in a hard thought 27 point win. Gibson the star holing Buddy Franklin to the bare minimum. Harvey and Harris racking up 30+ possesions and Lindsay Thomas finish the game with 4 goals.

but the adelaide win. 17 year hoodoo gone. sydney, another hoodoo. brisbane in brisbane, another hoodoo.

the biggest win though, round 20 (yes i know richmond won) but it gave the hawks a massive kick up the arse, winning the next four by 71, 78, 51 and 54.
it really gave the hawks the realisation that to win, they need to be 100% 100% of the time

North Melbourne against Hawthorn late in the year, when we held onto the game, and stopped buddy and roughy doing anything, and also equally against Western Bulldogs early in the year when no-one could beat them, and we proved the critics, when our odds for both games were more than 5-1 as tab proved wrong

That massive turnaround against Brisbane in a thriller felt like a final to me, ending brisbanes hopes of getteing forth spot and there season went down hill from there.

No Tigers fan or Hawthorn fan could forget that Sunday Afternoon, when Richmond outskilled Hawthorn at the MCG and the last team to do so before the run to the Flag.
