Robert Murphy - Hes not a kpp and we have an abundance of mid sized no positioners.

Mitch Hahn - As above

Stephen Tiller - Played well in the finals as a key back. Will not displace morris, hargrave, williams etc so might attract interest elsewhere.

Would like the dogs to look at mitch thorpe or Luke McPharlin as a CHF in front of big bazza!

Robert Murphy had no pre-season and has an injury interrupted season. He's way under value. When fit he's one of the top 5 marks in the league. Might not pull down the big ones but runs up the field like Riewoldt. Wouldn't trade him for Chris Judd.

Hahn's only move would be to the Gold Coast at the end of next year.

Tiller could be trade bait. Considering we'll only be taking 3 in the next draft because we have a settled list we'd need a draft pick above 39 for it to mean anything otherwise we are just giving him for nothing. Nobody will pay that.

Kade Simpson and Brad Fisher(steak knives) for a second round pick.

Simpson's football has plateaued.

Would trade to draft for need in the second round.

Either a KPP, inside midfielder or quick wingman.

And I wouldn't trade Fevola for a top ten pick and a set of steak knives...

Dont get me wrong, murphs a good player when up and running but as a CHF he cannot take a contested mark and doesnt have the body strength to compete with kpd (ie harley, fisher etc). Would be interesting to see if he attracts any interest and if so wat hed be worth. IMO hes expendable for the right price. Dont forget hes 27-28(?) and im not sure where he fits in considering we have too many mid size, outside players.

I wouldn't consider trading R.Murphy whatsoever. He provides our lead up forward role and is deadly via foot delivering into the 50. I think your letting this interrupted year get into your head.

Could be just the thing Staker needs. Could be a back-up plan if Neagle and Gumby don't come on. Spangher is still pretty young right?

Spangher is about 22, I believe.

I have to say though, not that I'm an expert but I don't think Staker nor Spangher are legit KPP. They're more like tall guys who play as smalls.

Eg. Staker has shown he can't hold down any spot in the spine but is handy to good as a flanker or mid.

IMO, Spangher is on his way to showing the same thing.

Peake - According to Caro ( ) he wants to come to Victoria..... Either way his contract is up this year so he may be traded or delisted. (i'd be happy for either)

Drum - #10 Draft Pick (2005), KPP, Hasn't been able to keep a spot. Does have some talent... just hasn't shown up as yet still. 22 years old and will probably still be able to make it.

Campbell - Big FF I'm sure someone can use, WB? Syd? whoever)

Foster - 23y.o. midfielder who has had troubles with a shoulder injury which has set him back a little but is still a very good player, even though we got spanked he was one of our best against Collingwood earlier this year.

O'Brien - Again injuries have curtailed his career to date and with players like Broughton/Hayden/Pearce/Pratt i don't see him getting a spot on our list as a small defender (only 181cm) So if anyone is in need of a small defender he is still only 21 and has plenty of time left.

I'd be happy with anything for these players whether thats a swap of positions in picks or even a late 3rd/4th round pick. They all will hopefully be moved on at the end of the year and if we can get a bit of value on them then thats a bonus.

What would the Hawks give for Stephen Tiller? A KP Defender who's still fairly young and he's shown to be a good stopper.
Tiller's not going anywhere. There's a few who will be offered before him.

Unless something like a low second rounder was offered might have to be a first rounder it wont happen.

He is a Gold Coast boy and we reckon they would offer a lot more as they would need the experience and the versatility that David (Hale) brings to the team.
Might want to now re-consider the asking price champ. He stocks are nosediving by the week.

I'm guessing the reason we kept him in the side so long was to keep his trade value up (Crocker, Bewick etc would talk him up every week to the press). Signed a 3 year deal and has stunk it up ever since.

Any interest in Bachar Houli?

Be disappointed to lose him but I think he could be looking else where given his lack of opportunities at Essendon.

What would you be expecting?

There has been some talk of him on the NMFC board but the general consensus is no.
