This is true. But i've followed Stanton more than most and he as improved his game every year. I think he will break tags next year. Especially with Goddard and Zaharakis back in the side for other teams to worry about.

Lol - Stanton had his pants pulled down by Marty Clarke - he does not need a tagger he needs someone to run near him. He has zero mental strength to turn things when it gets tough.

Could say the same about Wells or Harvey. Although, Stanton is a bit more consistent than those two.

You of all people should appreciate how good he is considering he got 35 possessions and kicked two goals against north in round 1.

This is a predictition thread, a place where you can put your predictions be they wild or safe.

Someone says Stanton runner up in Brownlow and the place goes into meltdown. He was second for most of this season, doesn't mean he is better than Cotchin or anything. Fact is he actually polls pretty well. By all means dig this up and laugh at the guy when Stants has done nothing by mid-season. But carrying on like twits now about a predition thread is pretty silly.

Andrew Swallow and Daniel Wells are the only North players who have a listing and its at 100/1 . There is a good reason they are at those odds. I think Stanton polls better than those two anyway.

You do realise that the majority of AFL players do this? Hell I've seen rookies from clubs do it, don't just point out 1 player when at least half the players at every club do it. Last year at the bung I saw a recently retired Collingwood premiership player snorting lines in the toilets and hell good on him if he wants to do it. I don't see the issue myself in recreational drugs, if people want to do it then good on them.

I would prefer the better player than the player that polls better. Swallow is so far ahead of Stanton it is not funny.
