Not for me to say, the 650 is a conservative estimate because I'd be betting on it being closer to 700k as a minimum amount. Certainly shaping up as an interesting trade/ FA periodDon't look at the Crouch thread then, that sort of contract won't be getting band 1 according to those there
The highest rated player at GWS last year according to Champion Data so I reckon your assessment of him shows how much you know about football!
Average leg speed!?

Its been reported in this calendar year that Crouch is getting $550-600k and Williams perhaps $900k. Not even comparable.Don't look at the Crouch thread then, that sort of contract won't be getting band 1 according to those there
$900k for Williams?
Prefer Crouch on $700 thanks
He gets caught a lot.
Which is the amount that North is happy to payAs much as I would love to see Williams at Carlton, he is not a $900k player. I'd take him at $500k-$600k a season.
Presumably the $900k?Which is the amount that North is happy to pay
Pretty sure the club is willing to throw our $4mil cap at anything to get the job donePresumably the $900k?
Most clubs could not afford Williams on $900k and Corr on something like $600k? Giants certainly cannot. If you throw enough $ something will stick!Pretty sure the club is willing to throw our $4mil cap at anything to get the job done
Yeah his name is Nic NewmanWith Simmo gone, Blues have a back flank with his name written all over it.
Realistically even a full-time mid spot.
But sometimes you have to when you're a rebuilding list. Cant exactly people on our recent ladder position or massive fan base. Most clubs could not afford Williams on $900k and Corr on something like $600k? Giants certainly cannot. If you throw enough $ something will stick!

Tom Browne quoting up to $900k on twitter literally this morning! Other media sources have speculated at similar $ level earlier this year too (https://www.sen.com.au/news/2020/02...sd900-000-for-this-gun-out-of-contract-giant/). I certainly don't think he's worth that amount, but that's irrelevant to what cubs will pay when they see a need. Even if it doesn't end up quite at that level (say $800k), it seems more than his value to me.I cant imagine Williams getting $900k either.
Been reported where? Its been reported in this calendar year that Crouch is getting $550-600k and Williams perhaps $900k. Not even comparable.
The fact he has a high price tag on his head and has lots of suitors shows what he is worth, Crouch, well, can't even get an offer of $650k from North.
Not even close to similar output at AFL level. Its actually offensive to Williams you even mention Crouch in this thread. Although your fellow supporters did suggest that he is on par with Dangerfield so not surprised.
Giants will finish at 10th to 12th on the ladder, which means Band 1 compo would end up around Pick 9 or 10. I actually think that's a very reasonable return for Williams.Looks like a band 1 compo. Although Williams is 100% worth much more than a pick that will effectively been in the teens.
