Things That Shit Me the Eighteenth

My oldest boy 23 is obsessed with fishing influencers, swanning around in tropical waters with their flash boats and bikini accomplices ……… not jealous at all 😠
Actually he also likes Giddo who absails down cliffs to his fishing spots
Totally ridiculous but entertaining sometimes

My youngest son 20 is into natural body builders , so all I hear around the house all day is Coach Greg and panels of people talking about diets and the pros and cons of anabolic steroids

Take me back to the 70’s please !!!!

I love Giddo. Watch his channel all the time. Guys a mad man but full respect for his dedication. Stuff like that isn't really in the same class as "look at me" type crap that get posted for no reason

Didi drivers that decide to take the most convoluted and ridiculous route to get to you, what goes from a 3 minute wait turns into an 8-10 minute wait because they can't be ****ed just following the Google Maps route they've been given.

Cheer up mate at least the Celts won yester....

Carry on

I was oddly more annoyed by that loss to OKC.

Those cheats had 20 more Free Throws.

The CFL runs the NBA

I hope she faces criminal charges before she inevitably has her visa revoked.

She left the country this morning and I don't think she will be coming back unless she is even more stupid than I thought.

Pollies are on safe ground condemning this sort of thing; they don't risk upsetting half the population.

Americans are weird; she's a self-described biologist and environmentalist, yet she hunts for recreation and doesn't mind grabbing a wild animal baby to gratify her own desire for a selfie. They (not sure about her but wouldn't be surprised) also keep wild animals as pets in apartments.

Aussie prick too

There are heartless, sadistic campaigners everywhere in the world, the fact 99 of Aussies (on social media) are sickened by this disgraceful act I think speaks well for our country and people and our values.

We may disagree on politics and other issues but we all love and care for our animals and native wildlife deeply ..

It would upset a lot of Australians if they knew that many (most?) other societies don't regard or treat animals with the same consideration and affection that we do.

Americans especially have treated their native wildlife and animals abhorrently since Colombus landed there.

Makes the actions of this US Influencer all the more galling.

We treat animals differently whether they are cute or not. The influencer grabbed the animal because it was cute. The reaction against that is because wombats are cute.

A comparison has been made with crocodiles. Crocodiles are not cute, do not aggressively look after their young, and we farm them. The eggs are taken from their mothers, grown until mature, then killed for their meat and skin.

These days livestock are humanely dispatched but some people defend the Aboriginal practise of throwing rocks at wombats and crocodiles, because it's traditional.

Also wombats are passive and pose no threat to us, whereas a crocodile would eat you. Some animals look cute, eg some monkeys, cats, yet are dangerous.

We are not supposed to criticise Aboriginals who would stone an animal to death but a white person would be condemned and fined. Does it make a difference to the animal? 🤔
