I hope she faces criminal charges before she inevitably has her visa revoked.
Pollies are on safe ground condemning this sort of thing; they don't risk upsetting half the population.
Aussie prick tooGiven all her hunting pictures and poses with dead beasties the wombats are lucky to not be dead.
Who is the prick laughing at her too? Not acceptable.
Aussie prick too
It would upset a lot of Australians if they knew that many (most?) other societies don't regard or treat animals with the same consideration and affection that we do.There are heartless, sadistic campaigners everywhere in the world, the fact 99 of Aussies (on social media) are sickened by this disgraceful act I think speaks well for our country and people and our values.
We may disagree on politics and other issues but we all love and care for our animals and native wildlife deeply ..

Also wombats are passive and pose no threat to us, whereas a crocodile would eat you. Some animals look cute, eg some monkeys, cats, yet are dangerous. We treat animals differently whether they are cute or not. The influencer grabbed the animal because it was cute. The reaction against that is because wombats are cute.
A comparison has been made with crocodiles. Crocodiles are not cute, do not aggressively look after their young, and we farm them. The eggs are taken from their mothers, grown until mature, then killed for their meat and skin.
These days livestock are humanely dispatched but some people defend the Aboriginal practise of throwing rocks at wombats and crocodiles, because it's traditional.

Aboriginal elder defends police officer shown stoning wombat in 'abhorrent' video
South Australia Police are investigating a video that appears to show an off-duty officer badly injuring or killing a wombat by throwing rocks at it, but an Aboriginal elder says it is a local hunting practice.www.abc.net.au
