It also should be known, that apparently 20 children are currently in Texan hospitals with measles. According to the doctor, all are struggling to breath and all are non vaccinated.

RFK is the biggest con man. Tells us vaccines are bad due to what is in them, yet shot himself full of heroin for years. Tells us not to vax our kids, yet his kids are vaccinated. Tells us about poor quality food, eats take away and junk food himself. All whilst grifting a few million from his lies. The guy is a fraud.

when a republican appointee quits , it must be bad

A Trump administration veteran, Corry had previously done a stint during President Donald Trump’s first term as senior adviser and communications director at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. After he was sworn in last month, Corry wrote on LinkedIn that he was “thankful that I’ll be part of the team that is going to work to make America healthy again, and on making healthcare more affordable and accessible.”

Those last few words seems rather incongruous. Very much not on-brand for the Rs.

and they were/are preventable. babies are dying. someone wrote hell is empty all the demons are here. resonated with me.

Well, here we are. The US is seeing one of the worst measles outbreaks in a decade, and it’s only March. 222 cases across 12 states, two deaths (both unvaccinated), and Texas is the epicenter with 198 cases.

We predicted this exact scenario:

Declining vaccination rates = more outbreaks.
Texas and New Mexico as ground zero.
Anti-vax rhetoric fueling the fire.
Deaths happening in unvaccinated individuals.

And now? The CDC is wasting time and money entertaining RFK Jr.’s anti-vax conspiracies instead of focusing on stopping a completely preventable disease.

The worst part is that this is 100% self-inflicted. Measles was eliminated from the US in 2000. The only reason it’s back is because of vaccine hesitancy.

What Happens Next...

More cases, more hospitalizations, more deaths... unless people start taking this seriously.

Texas will keep getting hammered because of under-vaccinated communities.

RFK Jr. and anti-vax groups will deflect, downplay, or blame "Big Pharma" instead of taking responsibility.

Measles isn’t a debate... it’s a virus. It doesn’t care about your “personal choice.” It just spreads. And now, people are paying for vaccine misinformation with their lives. Have we seen this before?

It's beyond belief but how do you reason with the states affected?
Texas a perfect example

Texas a perfect example

Scientific literacy requires a baseline trust in expertise, and that trust is fragile in an environment soaked in conspiracism and ideology.

The pattern of outbreak misinformation:

-Preventable disease resurfaces

-Misinformation spreads

-Vaccination drops

-Outbreak

People will act like measles showing up again in 2025 is some shocking twist no one could have seen coming.
Those of us who’ve worked with infectious diseases saw it coming ten miles away. You could set your watch to it.

Anti-vaxxers all read the same playbook:

Refuse the vaccine

Blame “Big Pharma”

Push detox kits and conspiracy books

Act shocked when outbreaks happen

Blame immigrants, 5G, or sorcery or whatever fits the mood

Examples...

Measles outbreaks (US) every time anti-vax talking points go mainstream.

Diphtheria in the 90s after vaccine programs collapsed.

Polio came roaring back in Nigeria because people said the vaccine was a sterilization plot.

330,000 South Africans died of HIV/AIDS because their president thought antiretrovirals were a Western scam.

Ebola spread faster because people hid their symptoms thanks to “don’t trust the aid workers” rumors.

COVID killed millions while grifters sold ivermectin and shouted on YouTube about “sheeple.”

And now we’ve got RFK Jr. (who will vaccinate himself and his family) trying to relaunch the vaccine-autism nonsense that’s been debunked more times than flat Earth theory.
Why? Because it’s profitable, not because it’s true.

Texas is the perfect case study.

Strong anti-government sentiment

High rates of religious and “conscientious” vaccine exemptions

A political culture that often sees public health measures as overreach rather than protection

So how do you reason with that? Slowly. Carefully. Sometimes you dont... you just try to prevent the damage from spreading.

i often wonder what history will make of this cluster**** that is the trump outfit.

So he wants to blame chemicals for homosexuality? Ok but...

Homosexual behavior has been observed in over 1,500 species, from bonobos to beetles, dolphins to dragonflies. And more importantly... this isn’t a new phenomenon. Animals have been engaging in same-sex behavior for millions of years.

If chemicals are responsible, then I guess the entire animal kingdom has been drinking fluoridated water and eating microplastics for the last few million years, right?

There's are good reason why homosexual behaviour exists in nature.

Social Bonding & Group Strength:

Seen in bonobos, wolves, dolphins, and lions, reinforcing alliances and reducing aggression.

Reproductive Advantages:

Some species (e.g., penguins, albatrosses, and gulls) form same-sex pairs to co-parent offspring, leading to higher survival rates.

Population Control & Resource Management:

Some white papers suggest that species with more homosexual behavior show higher environmental adaptability, reducing competition without reducing genetic diversity.

Evolutionary Resilience:

Groups with more same-sex behavior often have greater evolutionary success due to higher cooperation, resource sharing, and adaptability in harsh environments.

So what if was a chemical? 🎤

Even if chemicals did influence sexual preference (which they don’t), so what? Evolution already built homosexuality into animal populations long before humans started playing with plastic.

RFK Jr. blaming chemicals is just the latest version of pseudoscience-fueled moral panic. The same kind of nonsense people said about left-handedness, interracial relationships, and anything else they didn’t understand.

The real “chemicals” influencing sexuality? Testosterone, estrogen, and natural biological variation... aka, the same stuff that drives all behavior in the animal kingdom.

RFK Jr. is talking crap again about chemicals he doesn't understand, and is ironically ignoring something called - "Nature".

Babies are now getting emergency antibody injections in Texas hospitals... because of measles. In 2025.

This is what happens when vaccination rates fall and disinformation spreads faster than immunity.

259+ cases. Two deaths. Dozens of newborns exposed in a hospital... some only 3 days old.
Doctors are scrambling to protect them with short-term immunoglobulin injections, but let’s be clear:

This never should’ve happened.

Measles was eliminated in the U.S. in 2000. Now it’s back, not because of viruses evolving, but because people devolved into conspiracy nonsense.

What’s coming next?

More cases, likely 400+ in weeks.

Spillover into other states.

Pediatric ICUs filling up.

Politicians reacting late, as usual.

And anti-vax influencers spinning harder than ever.

Let’s not sugarcoat it: this is self-inflicted.
The science never changed, public trust did. And now infants are paying the price.

and this
Controversial Australian chef Pete Evans says he has met with US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk as he ramps up his involvement with Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s Make America Healthy Again plan.
Evans took to social media to say he had a “beautiful evening” at the Mar-a-Lago Club at the invitation of friends.

“Got to meet and shake hands with the legendary DJ that was spinning the tracks all night for his guests, the President @realdonaldtrump as well as Elon Musk and @jamesokeefeiii [media mogul James O’Keefe,” he wrote.

Sounds like he'd fit right in

Evans, for his part, parted ways with Channel 7 in 2020, and went on to share increasingly bizarre posts on social media.
Notably, he appeared to promote the idea Covid was a conspiracy, with a story posted on Instagram detailing a list of things people need to “look out for” – certain code words and implying “mass trials” and “executions” were happening behind closed doors.
He also shared a detailed graph showing links between a “Great Awakening”, a “Great Solar Flash”, “Secret Space Program”, and “machine elves”.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nation’s top health official, has an unorthodox idea for tackling the bird flu bedeviling U.S. poultry farms. Let the virus rip.

Instead of culling birds when the infection is discovered, farmers “should consider maybe the possibility of letting it run through the flock so that we can identify the birds, and preserve the birds, that are immune to it,” Mr. Kennedy said recently on Fox News.

He has repeated the idea in other interviews on the channel.

Mr. Kennedy does not have jurisdiction over farms. But Brooke Rollins, the agriculture secretary, also has voiced support for the notion.
