We've dominated the stat sheet and lost by a few points before but nothing like that. Thats the most extraordinary stat to result breakdown I can remember seeing. How can you dominate the ball like that and lose by 11 goals?

I'm just despondent. I'm in iso. I wish my tv was in iso in a different room. That was ******* shit. Only way to describe it.

We look lazy, unfit, disinterested and resigned to the fact we will be no good this year.

This last two weeks has been the worst forward line structure, movement, creativity in our history. Awful. Simply awful.

Rozee can't play next week. Needs to learn this sort of performance isn't acceptable. Marshall should be lucky if he ever plays again. Where has this swan dive from reasonable output to just simply not getting anywhere near it come from? Finlayson, yuck. Motlop, meh. Sinn tried up there.

Skinner looked every bit an SANFL player. Too slow. Hopefully he learns from that and gets up to the pace of the game next week. Jones has the Pittards at the moment. Good defensive moment followed up by shambolic disposal or decision making.

We had a bunch of individuals play well individually and the team as a whole absolutely stank.

Write the season off. We are bottom 4 material.

We do look lazy , unfit and not interested.
The Gold Coast practice match shone a light on it.

Lost prelims in 2014, 2020 and 2021.

And Boak played in the 07 horror show so he should understand how big these chances are better than most.

Not to mention the wasted years 2015-2019 where we didn't even get close.

I can't feel any emotion for the current lot after tonight's performance and last year's prelim.

And that is why I haven’t even watched 1 minute of either of our games this year.

It was clear during the PS that we were just an absolute rabble. No idea what we spent 6 months of PS practicing as it was clear as day that our structures across every line are in disarray.

I just can’t bring myself to watch our forward line anymore. Port brings me no joy and I get nothing but anger and frustration out of them so why watch them?

The club has shown no inclination to change something that is clearly been failing for 5+ years. If they won’t change, I will and I have.

We all know the structure. Bomb long to a contest. Create congestion, lock it in the forward half. Hit 45s on the way out of defence or go down the line. Hit the edge of the center square every kick out.

We have a clear system, it's a rubbish system, and it is based around us trying to prevent the opposition on turnover, but hopefully lead to some fast break stuff, whilst up forward it is all just get it in, hope we can create chaos to kick goals or lock it in.

It's a boring, shitty gamestyle. It stifles all our players, and continually stalls the development of many of our kids.

I lost count of the number of times one of our players took an uncontested mark, and I yelled out, "OK now what? The players have lost all confidence in Ken's game plan, and nothing will change until he's gone.

1. Top fantasy scorers are linking up well but it's breaking up after their possession

2. Hawthorn's defense was extremely well structured and countered every single Port attack

3. You were defending at ground level but Hawthorn were behind the ball and weren't really challenged once the clearance was won by Port

Huge structural breakdowns. That was as a comprehensive an out-coaching as I've seen. The stats you outline reflect a major coaching breakdown outside of the initial ball win.

I'm shocked for you. That was Melbourne circa 2013-esque. No offense.

The second half looked like kids footy where one team is coached by someone who knows what he's doing and the other team could only get the enthusiastic Dad of the fat asthmatic back pocket who's never played any sport ever to do the job. A handful of the talented kids bust their gut but get overwhelmed by the competence of the opponents and it all turns to horrible shit.

3 sides since 2010 have made finals after being 0-2, in our next 3 weeks we have the reining premier (L) and up an coming Carlton (L) and the Crows, who are trash but at least ring effort and on todays performance beat us easily.

We are likely going to be 0-5, best case we are 1-4. Lets be honest and call this for what it is.
