I coach u13s and I seem to have a more ruthless culture than Hinkley. And don't get me wrong, I am positive reinforcing coach by majority. Spent the morning working on our creed for the year with our first trial tomorrow.....and it's everything we are not under fester.

The sh## coming out of the club is completely messed up for a professional organisation. How the players just accept loss is mind blowing. We are in a dark place....

That Ken continued the smirking, chuckling all through his press conference shows the rabble the club has become. Where was the person to pull him up and tell him that was just not acceptable? I mean it didn’t have to be Koch, or Richo, or Davies. I would have taken Alfie doing it.

In the past, a coach doing that would have been told by all and sundry that it wasn’t on. He could have expected to be dismissed by Monday too.

The presser said it all, we have to get back to work and keep working on getting harder at working….

Also, we don’t need to keep working on goal kicking from 30m out either, I mean they are highly paid athletes, I’m not only pointing the finger at Boak, Wines and half the other guys miss the simple crap, always have.

Maybe that’s why last week and this week the oppo have way better goal to point ratios, because they are just better at it???

Sack him.

I reckon we kill our goalkicking by making too many guys do too much two-way running. They're stuffed. That's either the game plan or a poor fitness regime, both of which presumably are overseen by the head coach?

It's been a problem for a long time, especially at home. It's not a one-off "could have, should have" scenario.

Look, I will probably lose my Ambassadorship tonight and that will be devastating as I love this club more than I love my wife, but after tonight; enough is enough. This club needs change.
What’s the point of ambassadorship if not to amplify one’s voice for the good of the club!

Go get the bastards!

Footy is a simple game and the aim is to kick goals, unfortunately Port want to complicate things with strange game plans.
Get back to basics and the players might actually start enjoying their footy again, results will come.
All this has to happen under new management at the club and most importantly a new head coach, his message is old and stale, plus I can't stand him any more lol.

So, if smiling as we were about to lose the match wasn't enough....

He should be in so much mental pain with his team 18th on the ladder after round 3, that it would be physically impossible for him to laugh. He doesn't give a fu** about this club.

Someone retweet this to kochie. This is actually the most concerning thing out of the night. He's mentally checked out and going through the motions now. Get him out

Kochie doesn't care either.
He's more worried about scomo losing the election.

The reality is. Ken won't be moved on till we are completely out of the finals race. They're not going to sack a guy at round 3, the AFL wouldn't allow it if kochie asked... our finals chances will be officially gone shortly and it will happen then...give it 3 weeks , we'll be 0-6 so just sit back .

Melbourne will smash us next week , Carlton will win comfortably in Melbourne and then if we lose to the eagles which is essentially a WAFL side at home that'll be it for the used car salesman

Zero Coke and zero nous, has taken a hell of a lot more from our club than he has given IMO. If this was back in the good ol' days of Port culture, BIg Bob would just have finished re-arranging the soil in his backyard after burying the bastard, and Koch would still be running all the way back to Sydney after a big boot up his arse

The last time he was this smug and cheerful it was because he had a contract extension guarantee from Kochie.

My thoughts as well. 2023 is Hinkley's call and it is supported by the long serving board members, by Koch, and the CEO who is confident of this coach delivering three flags. For this to change things have to turn uglier.

I can't see the CEO recommending a sacking. I can't see Davies detaching his support of Hinkley. I can't see Koch letting go of his hugs on Hinkley. I can only hope that the more recent board of directors are enough to swing their support away from Koch as president and Hinkley as coach.

If there is a change of coach, I would hope that Koch is gone too.
