Sorry to be the bearer of bad news..... The Saints have not come close to beating PA since Jesus was a small boy.
Just a few weeks ago we just got over the line against the Saints by 10 points at home. I'd say that was pretty close, and that was before the giant crater we fell down in the last few games.

The creed is not just some fancy words on a piece of paper to be forgotten. It's a call to arms. Fos crafted it to establish our purpose - strength, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to success, aka premierships. It calls for every player and staff member to be "active, aggressive, and devoted" to the club’s cause. It emphasises the importance of personal sacrifice and the relentless pursuit of premierships.

"We're not one of the best teams in the competition, everyone agrees," is a slap in the face to every supporter who bleeds for this club. This isn't about admitting reality - it's about a defeatist attitude that goes against everything the creed stands for. Instead of rallying the team and inspiring belief, Hinkley is effectively throwing in the towel. How can we expect the players to fight for every inch on the field when their leader is already conceding defeat?

By attributing failures to fear or shifting blame onto players, Hinkley abdicates responsibility for the team’s performance. What are we to do?

It's akin to his "finals are scary" comment. When a leader admits to being scared, it implicitly condones fear within the ranks. To say that "finals is scary" is to admit to a psychological barrier that hinders the complete exertion of effort demanded by the creed. How often do you see our players really give it 100%? I mean really giving their all?

There is no accountability. **** Hinkley and **** his enablers. How can we put our faith in the brains trust that has kept this fraud in charge for so long to choose someone better? I'm beyond disillusioned with this "club".

Remember when Kevin Foley was trying to take over to turn us into Southern Power Football Team? Remember when KT reaffirmed commitment to the creed, our history and pursuit of success? How naive I was to think we'd retain our identity. And yet, here we are.

SPFC, est 1996, just like Koch always wanted. What a joke.

I don’t think the players like him nearly as much as we are lead to believe
I said a few weeks ago that I thought he was losing the players. Just a few signs of body language while on the bench and bits of player interviews.

The one thing in your favour is that Dixon isn't playing as he usually saves his couple of good games a year against us. Any way im crossing my fingers that you guys get your wish and the Saints get up this time lol

So according to Ken we are a shit team and everyone is better than us! What confidence does that give the players? Enough is enough

Well that's nothing but a cop out. Just 14 short months ago, Hinkley himself said that he had the best combination he'd ever had in his time at Alberton, and this year's recruits were supposed to fill in the gaps. To me, that speaks volumes of Hinkley's deficiencies as a coach, rather than the playing list.
