Hello

I was speaking to an ex power captain today at the big shed.

They said rozee has completely lost interest in football.

Sounds like another Wingard

Hinkley effect?!

His body language suggests that he is playing in a disinterested manner.

****

I find it hard that he could be disinterested and yet just signed a new deal. If he really wasn't happy with something going on at the club, he could easily choose to be elsewhere.

Just sounds like an excuse for being in piss weak form, to be honest.

Young talented player with offensive flair gets bored playing Hinkleyball. Well I never.

The rest of the league fapping its knackers off with the so-called ‘striker’ role — Petracca, Dusty, Cripps, Dangerfield, Heeney — and we’ve got 4th-year Connor Rozee performing as an inferior version of Collingwood’s 19yo Oliver Henry.

Yeah, completely disinterested in his job so signs two year extension. Clearly taking pointers from Hinkley on milking the most money possible out of the club.

It’s a common phenomenon in American sport, albeit regarding crazy money.

Guy goes all out to earn a massive payday, ‘secures the bag’, and then coasts.

In the aftermath of the Prelim didn’t his mum grab the mic at Ken Oath’s Pyongyang Palace and suggest booers should be arrested by SAPOL?

Maybe the apple didn’t fall terribly far from the tree and he’s choosing to play like a downhill skier who is terrified of physical contact to spite that criminal element among us?

Is Rozee the sort of player who puts the team on his back? No. But if we played a game plan that at the very least wasn't soul destroying, we'd get the best out of his attributes and he'd appear more interested.

Of course he could but will he get half a million bucks and a celebrity prestige for it?

He was called out for his lack of competitiveness by the “On the Couch” team last night.

Medium/Small forward is probably the hardest (on in the top 2 with inside mid) position to play without fierce competitiveness.

Once the current regime have gone I think he will probably be moved to a more outside role - HB or wing. I’m not sure about his defensive ability or running capacity but I think long term he could become more of a creator in space. Kind of like a better (hopefully) Bonner.

Today was the first time where I thought Rozee could truly become a good midfielder.

Threw his body at the contest, 6 tackles, added some flash and found the ball.

His career was taking a nose dive but maybe getting blown out today for Ken to throw him into the center square is a good thing.

Please let this be a turning point. One of the most talented and skilled players to ever grace our AFL list.

And for **** sakes Ken play him in the center square next week from the bounce as well.

He starts in the middle from now on. Changed the game when he went in the middle. Love what Boaky has done for us but he can finish his career at half forward, time for Rozee to take over permanently.
