Can't recall the last time we made 5 changes to the team. I hope that isn't too unsettling for the team.

The biggest point of interest will be how our forward line functions with different personnel, especially in light of losing four forwards who happen to be our top 4 goal kickers so far this season.

I wonder whether the introduction of Cox and Kreuger alongside Cameron is seen as a correction after the Eagles intercept defenders dominated us last week.

Brisbane will be heavy favourites, but looking forward to seeing how we back up after a 5-day turnaround.

We lost to a WAFL midfield, we all know it's won and lost in the midfield.
We were also beaten by a bunch of players with long haul covid, a malnourished anti-vaxxer and a pothead.

It really can't get any worse...
I disagree. It was lost in our forward line. 60 to 40 inside 50s. I’m assuming the midfield did help getting the ball in there.

Ginnivan, McInness, Wilson all forwards with less than 10 games. Add Henry with less than 15 games. The inexperience up forward killed us against McGovern, Barrass, Hurn, Duggan, Witherden.

We had no issue getting in there. Even if the delivery could have been better. I think the kids just didn’t know how to create space/options.

Sorry. Yes. A mate said he saw Moore didn't train and heard he may be a late change. He is usually on the ball but I've seen nothing about Moore anywhere so hopefully he is wrong.
They had him on the mic at the last training session. Your mate must be digesting some bad sauces.

Was at the beach this morning.
Noble is out on the ground having a kick so you'd assume there's a change. God I hope it's not Moore out though.

He’s probably the medical sub

Actually, scratch that - so are Bianco, Macrae and Tyler Brown - all 4 emergencies. Haven't seen Moore though 😬

Our rebuild takes a step backwards tonight. Only Reef and Nicky D selected in 22 from our last 3 drafts

Quaynor out there and very well established from our 2018 draft. Kelly though looks less likely at this point

… 2019 the verdict is still out on Bianco and Ruscoe… their probably a 50/50 to make it long term. But Noble has been handy for a MSD draft pick up

So agree those years are poor but the 2020 and 2021 drafts look to be our saviour…

Nick Daicos and 10 or so promising kids who will push for selection as the year goes on and into early 2023

At years end we need to bring in more mature age Lipinski and Krueger types to make up for the fairly barren 2015-2019 draft years

ND, Maynard, Madge, Wilson, Crisp, IQ, Roughy, Pendle, Howe, JDG, and Lipinski on the ground - no Moore yet 😬😬

Midfield group having a deep and meaningful on the ground which Grundy came out for - fully kitted up.

Grundy, Adams, Crisp, Pendlebury, Lipinski, Sidebottom, J.Daicos.

JDG forward.

I'm not super confident, but i wasn't super confident against the cats either and our game held it's own there. If we kicked straight, we would be 4-0 right now. I'd be pretty happy if we prove we can hold our own against a top 4 side and if we sneak a win that would be super. Hopefully Kreugs has a smashing game as I think our reliance on Cox and Darcy is the biggest weakness in our game (as much as I think Cox could be a very good forward if he just got his hands and aggression right).
