Newnes would be very nervous
Stocker is going to be an automatic out I think for next week. Carroll can play on the half back flank and Hewett goes into the middle.

Saad was close if not bog.. he was everywhere

Such a rare thing to see a smart footballer with good skills who is athletically gifted. Normally your athletes are nuffies who spray them everywhere but he just controls the game with his intercepts and ground ball gets.

I don't celebrate Christmas, but I'm ready to be a full-time Carroll singer!
The Xmas Carroll puns need to stop now. At least until December.

It's his first touch that I love. Even if he doesn't grab it cleanly he will eloquently fumble it into his or a teammates advantage.

Adam Saad makes me very haappy!

what a photo
Is that really Powerade or red paint?

Ok ….. first half was really bad, can’t sit here and say I was at all impressed.

Third quarter was a heaven sent blessing and I hope it plays us back into some form because prior to that we have been playing really ordinary the last few weeks. Fourth was more of the same just didn’t capitalise.

Not going to be a negative Nellie because a 50 point win playing only a half of footy is pretty good but there are areas we desperately need to improve in if we are going to win a final, let alone play a final this year.

We need to learn to stick our tackles. We need to find composure. We need to lift our work rate when the opposition gets momentum. We need to stop playing scared and predictable and take some well calculated risks.

Most of all we need to learn how to use our footy brains!

Told Thy that I wouldn’t complain about the umpires again but that female umpire was just not up to scratch at all. Simply put you are either AFL quality or not, I don’t care what you have between your legs. But when you are representing your gender in a male dominated arena in front of lots of spectators, not cutting the mustard really hurts your plight and she was very, very ordinary tonight.

we seem to be dropping a lot of marks and our placement of kicks is a little wanting at th3 moment, these traits need to improve too.

All up happy with the second half and hope it acts as a springboard for better performances moving forward.

Love Jack, Cripps, Saad, Young, Doc, Fish and of course Carol tonight. King also did better than I expected which was a bonus.

will enjoy watching the second half again.

Go baggers!

I'll happily take that. You can count on one hand the number of times we've beaten them by 4 goals or more since the early 1980s.

Given Dad played for North it's sad to see them fielding a side with so many non-AFL grade players.
95 preliminary was a good night

Lot to like in that second half. Cant remember the last time we won a game by 50 points.

Looks like we found one with Jack Carroll. :thumbsu: Really even team performance and i thought every player played their role tonight.

Bring on the Crows.
