We changed our game plan after 1/2 time. Move the ball quick and look inboard

So good to see us finally look to go through the corridor or switch to the open side...and we looked great. Lets hope it continues.

Also reckon it was clear the whole game that our defenders were attempting to roll off their opponent and get a third man up to spoil/intercept. Saw a lot of that tonight, Young in particular was great with his intercepts. Think our defenders had become a bit reactive in the last 3 or so weeks, just worrying about their man but tonight they were proactive.

Lot to be said about how we finally crushed a team, and a bogey team, no less.

Even more to be said about Saad, Cripps, Young, Harry and for me too, some deserved loved for Plow.

Last, but absolutely not least, how about Jack ******* Carroll on debut if you don't mind!

Happy weekend baggers!!!

Good post but not mentioning JSOS must have been a brain fade.

A game we had to win and did it well. TDK is really important and played well tonight.

I don't want to be so sanctomonious,
I don't want to be such a negative jerk,
But I don't think VFL is good for you....Carrol
Yeaahh! One of the great Aus rock n roll songs. Gosh he looked good did young Jack.

Good win, lot of good contributors.

Plowman still offers something down back. He has experience, will hold his spot for now, especially with Gov out for a while.

We did miss Hewett in the midfield today, he is so underrated. Obrien should never be dropped again, runs, runs and runs. One side of the wing is his now
The amount of times he was burned when he was in the clear on his favoured side.

Fairly frustrating grrr

Don’t underestimate Plows game either.

Helped Young’s game no end.
Jones and Plow made a pretty good defensive team last year. Hopefully Young and Plow can form a good defensive pairing. Once Weiters got over his yips, our back half settled down and Plow and Young were very impressive.

Any win against that mob is a great win. Carroll announcing himself as a player almost makes up for the disappointment of Stocker's injury ( but at least he gave a good one to get get it) Young's big block on Zurhaha was a nice watch - a bit more of that and he gets added to my mongrel list tick box.

It was very nice to have a comfortable win as it’s a sign the team is learning how to handle expectation of winning after years of losing.

Obviously the second half was a lot better than the first half in particular with how we played without the ball.

Saad, Cripps and Doc were outstanding, a great return game from MK and it was also very pleasing to see the likes of Young, Fisher and Martin play well.

Roll on next week.
