I love him
I reckon he plays as 3rd tall over Graham and we might be 4 and 4-even 5 and 3
All part of many long time supporters here being very emotionally attached and craving success given our uninspiring history of losses I guess.
Something is building with this team though. We are not that far away from turning the regular losses into regular wins, even if they are ugly wins. Boys just need to keep playing together, continue to gain confidence and hopefully find a couple of more A grade mids. Provided our injuries don’t hurt us, the second half of this season could get very interesting.
I thought that was Luko at first glance but what the hey-I feel like dancing!!!

Used to always worry about Fyfe. Just need to hit our short targets as Chapman, Pearce & Ryan are elite interceptors

I want to drop him from the back flank - his skill set is literally the opposite for what’s required.
As a centre square mid though, completely different story.
Lions: 27 disposals, 1 goal, 7 i50, 7 clearances
Swans: 24 disposals, 7 marks, 1 goal, 8 i50, 6 clearances.
Trouble is we have swallow, Anderson, Miller, fiorini, rowell who all essentially play the same position and aren’t great at playing any other position.
Maybe Anderson or rowell has got to go play forward line occasionally like a dusty or a libba does.
I’ve been critical of our coaching and opportunities to win of late.
Today was a great win for the club
Hopefully it pumps up the confidence.
3 goals after halftime though…
Almost got us undone.
I feel when we are ahead at halftime.
Dew seems to change the winning game plan into a save our score game plan.
Manage to scrap it out and hold on late.
Chol still seems lazy, yet when he gets his half a opportunity he kills it.
Some nice touches to help team mates and himself to snag one.
Today was a great win for the club

Yeah think Powell was our main defender on heeney.
Heeney had clearly his worst game for the year. Least possessions and first game without a goal.

i really liked budarick game, ball winning hb/back pocket is what we were crying out for and missing last year when he got hurt.
also big witts best game of the year imo, full credit as big ladhams was in form.
funny thing is the style of footy we are playing atm is great for finals dare i say it!!

Thankfully our defence was on the front line in the trenches today.. those patches of panic of that handball and chip around around the wing and square will get punished against a side with clean skills
