Heritier Lumumba has released secret tape recordings from meetings with Nathan Buckley which appear to verify his claim that the former Pies coach accused him of throwing Eddie McGuire “under a bus”
Not sure what Lumumba's end game is here with Collingwood, but he's had this on the works for sometime.

A lesson to everyone...............

don't try and change the world, change yourself. In this case the club was controlled by a strong character, some would say egotistical w***er, in Eddie. Guys like Eddie surround themselves in lap dogs, the suck up shit down types.

H was never going to win, or even heard, in this situation.

He simply should have asked for a trade

i read some comments from pies fans that seemed pretty pissed off, some say this whole thing cost them their CEO and coach, i mean Eddie out of the spotlight as much is a great deed if he contributed at all

guys like eddie have no place in this world

just like John Elliott's and his paper bags days were over in the 80s
Eddie's days were over in the 90s

The world moves on but these dinosaurs cause so much damage without knowing their ways are so harmful

It was the 4-5 black dudes with that tiny white chick on the couch meme picture used in relation to swarming your opponent.

Pfft.

The pornography is on the mind, not in the picture.

“One of the team rules was to ‘come forward’, so he showed an image of a group of about five or more men ejaculating on a woman’s face with the words ‘come forward’ as a caption.

Seems pretty obvious he signed on hoping for the midseason draft. Has been told the Crowd won't take him and hasn't had much interest elsewhere.

So time to bail on the pittance paid to SANFL top ups.

The marquee player (eg Sutcliffe) might get a decent amount compared to the $200 per game the other guys get. Although the work opportunity Freeman has in Victoria probably pays more.

Reasonable people like you and I can see that there is no place for dinosaurs like Eddie in modern professional sport yet the AFL is seriously considering giving him a seat on the AFL Commission in 2023.

It highlights the quality of the selection panel or existing members

No doubt he is smart and influential but anyone with an EQ would recognise he is not suitable in any professional organisation

He would've been better off playing tennis or golf - not a team sport.

What a depressing lesson.
I think his initial moves were great. You cant stand back and allow racism & bullying go on unchecked in any environment. But after speaking to the club, then later calling them out in the media etc, he should have pulled back IMO. The club has officially apologised & reached out to him, and so has Buckley as an individual, but he continues to just dig his heels in, clamp his teeth, and go for the jugular.

We all know that the Club was/is guilty of wrongdoing in this and other issues raised, and they still are not clean. So is Buckley in this regard, but beyond apologising, and reaching out, there is nothing more that Buckley can really do. Lumumba wants blood to run. I am sure if Buckley had his time again, he would handle that whole saga differently. Not much more he can do now.

As for Lumumba, he is just poisoning his own mind with hatred & resentment, and no doubt really affecting his immediate family with that toxic mind set. For his own mental health, he needs to move on from the sorry saga. He was a great player to watch, just a shame to have this as his lasting legacy.

LaMumba seems like a self absorbed cancer. Collingwood should cease giving him any oxygen. You've had your little cry now **** off. Despite the virtue signalling that the Game now has to portray, at the end of the day this is still a man's sport and a team sport. If your sensitivities are more in line with the Humanities faculty at Swinbourne University then maybe football isn't really for you. STFU.

Relevance deprivation.

Papa G, although Lumumba is in an unhealthy Crusade (i.e. unhealthy for him), that doesn’t mean neither that the underlying cause is unfair nor that he doesn’t have justifiable reasons for it.

It is necessary to acknowledge and understand his pain, even if to ultimately point out where he has gotten it wrong.
