I'm confused. Is this Corey Durdin, Sam Durdin, or Lachie Fogarty?

Buts Teague’s decision to put Curnow and Murphy back in the midfield whilst he was caretaker coach won him the job and set us back 2 years as a result.
Did it?

With Cripps, Curnow, Marchbank plus many others injured for pretty much that whole time, how much further ahead would we have been?

Some players development may have been stunted but I think Covid and slashing soft cap had just as much impact there.

I think he wasn't quite up to being a head coach but Teague didn't set us back two years.

You're underestimating how bad Teague was.
We're lucky Sayers stepped in and forced the review.

All Teague's pre and post match pressers were just the same monotone, emotionless, yeah-nah style pressers. Watch Voss... he looks at the reporter he's answering in the eye, when he wants to make a point he's steely, when he wants to show appreciation and love for effort he smiles, eyes glisten and verbally shows his delight.

Teague was completely out of his depth.
Standard line after Teague was let go … great bloke etc etc … don’t want to dance on the great guy’s grave (I was on the Teague train) but wow, you don’t have to be a blind man who can now miraculously see to understand the difference. Teague was a really stupid decision by the club that had a weak board who bent to the will of supporters who let’s be honest know sweet FA about running a successful afl club. Hopefully with sayers in charge now this level of stupidity is finally past our great club.

The thing that sometimes goes unmentioned about Bolton and his tenure here is that he instilled a much welcome level of professional standards for our players and their conduct, especially off field

How many of our players have made the media headlines for all the wrong reasons during and after the time that Bolts was coach?
I think if you asked die to the bone blues supporters who they thought moved the squad forward and who completely stalled it no one would have a bad word to say about Bolton. Hope he gets another shot, Teague, I’m pretty sure never will. It’s not his gig to be a head coach … great assistant though.
