Sheedy should be thanking the AFL for managing the drug injecting (they were not supplements) programme investigation and they nearly managed to get the players off and not the 2 year penalty they all deserved.

Fortunately for the sport ASADA could see what a sham it was and appealed

If they just rolled over like Cronulla the penalties would have been lower and they could have moved past it. They just couldn't get Hirdy to take the fall

If the Essendon “power brokers” had any sense they wouldn’t have given Sheedy a role back at the club, but clearly sense as well as honesty and integrity is in short supply at Melrose Drive

Nup. Knew what they were doing was dodgy as, wrote an arse covering letter that he gave to one person that lost it and then the Doc didn't follow it up and acted as if nothing was happening. I am not buying that he didn't know the program was continuing given the hundreds of injections given to the 40odd players on the list. I think he had a responsibility to do a lot more to look after the players.

The Doc at Cronulla resigned because he couldn't turn a blind eye to it.
