Have said it before but will say it again.

Our defensive gameplan is ******* atrocious. We push people way too high and allow teams to go over us every time.
You can always catch Ridley and Kelly pushing up to the wings for absolutely no reason and then being out of position when the ball is turned over.

Nah, it's because our midfielders won't run defensively and they're forced to fill a gaping hole in the middle.

It's the same story as every other game this year. We gift the opposition goals with basic skill errors in D50 and allow them to transition from there D50 to F50 with absolutely no pressure. I haven't given up yet, mainly because I'm 3 sheets to the wind.🥃🥃 Go Don's!!!

Ive liked Laverde down back but he might be more useful center/up the ground, if we aren’t going to drop hepp, Frang back Lav half forward

Ridley does it when we're attacking too. Pushes up to the wing, never gets used as an option and then is out of position on a quick turnover. Our defensive structures are a joke. Defenders who should stay parked in D50 push up way too far.

I reckon the Blues are averaging 4 possessions to get the ball from their D50 to their F50. It's easier than a training run.

Can we start thread banning those who use the word cringe.

We get it. The club celebrated its history. You don't like it coz you want to be sour. Move on. It's got duck all to do with what's happening on the field.

I agree, though it wasn’t the occasion, nor the content itself or the great players and footage that was cringe, it was the presentation that was a bit, well, cringe. As was the address in the circle. It just was, I’d say that about any team, but it just so happened to be our team. It’s just an opinion.

Game doesn't matter. All about the 150 celebration. Hope Xavier doesn't hurt his shoulder from patting himself on the back.

It's allright, Heppell gave a nice speech meaning and the Essendon Marketing Club was all over it.

"Not our night" post to come but then we'll get wall papers during the week of Heppells emotional jumper tug.
