in what way is it over the top?

they are definitely beatable, but they are most certainly the significant favorite, wouldn't think many would take issue with that.

Those odds are pretty bang on based on recent form.

Carlton have one of if not the best fwdlines in the comp at the moment, the good thing is we have a solid defense.

This game is 100% winnable but we simply cannot dish up what we have over the last 5 weeks. Need to come out firing from the start when we have momentum, we need to capitalise on it.
Well put. We are massive underdogs. Ignore the ladder, I’ll be pumped if we win, would be a big surprise. A week ago I had tipped us but I reckon we are in a hole.
Did Shiel take a dump on Scott's desk to never get selected for the firsts?
Imagine how fit that poo is

Anyone know if the Ponsford end will be where Essendon's Cheer Squad will be located?
Yes Essendon cheer squad side
That's incorrect. The Essendon cheersquad is located in M3 for home games at the MCG. Only Collingwood have their MCG cheersquad located in M33 of the Ponsford stand.

Setterfield is a good in. Feel better about the midfield battle with him in there. Feel less certain about Tsatas staying in….its going to be a very, very hot ball and don’t have confidence yet in his ability to handle that. Anyway, let’s see.

Goldy is a bit of a worry v TDK. Obviously won’t compete athletically, hopefully his size and smarts compensate.

We match up as well as anyone with MCKay and Curnow. Will be great viewing….brother against bother for the first time is an obvious one. But Ridley v. Curnow is one of the most entertaining 1:1 duels since Peter Knights tried to go head to head with me in 1978. Confident we can win both battles.

We will stretch their backs. Setterfield
in releases Stringer to play more inside 50 - he and Langford are so tough when isolated deep. Add Wright and Jones working up and back and I can see us kicking a score.

Pumped for this. Go Bombers!

Who won out of you and Knights?

So we’re redman out for setterfield, so already a backman less.
If there is truth to Martin playing mid - be interesting to see how the magnets get thrown around. Someone had to spend more time back in that situation. Hind? Cox?

Might need him elsewhere eventually but I would start Cox forward and let 2MP roam aroung with TDK. Cox did well with 3 goals last week.

kelly played forward last week so he is the obvious one. Just have to get the match ups right

Hepp, Kelly and Hind the logical players to go there given their experience

I’d also be interested in seeing Caldwell have a go there and rotating out start have Sheil, Merrett and Duz on ball
