I’m sure Kelly loves seeing that from his boss. It’s not his fault that we are dogarse and he has been our best player along with NN since the trade.

Why even comment on it Nisbett you campaigner
That was my first reaction too, Nisbett needs to STFU about our recruiting, trading and drafting; just puts his foot in it everytime. Also he's the campaigner that puts these guys in place that make those decisions (and gives them lifetime jobs), it's as much his fault as anyone's.

No doubt Nisbitt is a shrewd financial operator and has good business connections. But West coast Eagles now just prints money it’s an established financial powerhouse like a lessor Man Utd. Success is the best way to continue printing money. We should be using our financial muscle to get the best football department in the league there is no excuse for it. The failures of the post drug era, the woosha down fall and the Covid era should of seen him long gone we are much to conservative and it’s cushy jobs for boys we need to throw our weight around more.

Personally I’d give simmo another year been crap is good for stocking up on talent. And I think personally he’s fairly hamstrung by the ineptness of those above him

Yep. Tassie is actually quite conservative. It's only really inner-city Hobart and Launceston that could be considered as mostly progressive. The tourist hubs also.

Most other places, people rarely travel more than 40 minutes from home and aren't exactly highly educated, or have much exposure to progressive society.
Inbred, you say?

Depressing remembering how Gaff used to not be able to handle a tag. They’d never consider bothering to tag him now
Nah Gaff around that could cop a tag. Even in that Game he was heading to a 40 possie game and that was one of the only years where he was making a lot impact with his disposal. Gaff now is just cooked, his endurance is no where it was and the game is slowly moving past him

Gawn was soft the week prior as well. Doesnt like it taken up to him

Almost as though it's exactly the same as in 2018 when Lycett and Vardy did a number on him and on Grundy.

May is easily the most important player in Melbourne's side and they are now short up front. Will be very interesting as the season progresses particularly with Daniher coming back for the lions. Is the sort of guy who could hit a hot patch in the finals and kick 5-6 in a couple of finals and lead a team to a premiership.

I still have my doubts on Freo over the course of a full season + finals particularly this being their first go round with this group.

Brisbane there's serious doubts about particularly in regards to Andrews seemingly huge fall off in form.

Melbourne seem to have some forward line issues + if May is missing they are nowhere near as dangerous.

With Weitering back are the blues a sneaky chance? Very similar issues to Freo.

The real interesting game is post bye Brissie against Melbourne at the G.

The point was that he will never be tagged now - not whether or not he could handle it

No one is brave enough to tag him now after the last guy that did it got a busted jaw
